Wow, what a wonderful find. Although I've been an avid Corgi collector and have amassed a collection in my cabinets of in excess of 250 models. I'm also a subscriber to the new Corgi Model Club. However, just recently I've also been considering collecting matchbox from the 1960's the same as I do with my Corgi's.. The nostalgia of these little diecasts is amazing. To me each an everyone is a little time machine which take me back to my childhood of 55+ years ago. I love his Corgi Agricultural collection. I've got most of those myself. His description of how he feels when he's near his cabinets is exactly the same as I feel... Keep it up Jules, I really enjoy your videos, particularly your Corgi Model Club reviews..

Absolutely beautiful collection but I did notice notice which pleases me not all your boxes are absolutely perfect. Not all your models are absolutely perfect some or play warm so that pleases me for my little small collection which my boxes are immaculate but what I need to start to understand these are toys as well as models, unbelievable that tractor from the guy who invented it amazing no wonder you don’t ever want to sell it I wouldn’t never I would pass it on to my nephew. Thanks for sharing. Brilliant video.
Yes, it's a rare collector who has everything in 'as new' boxes. I don't mind done wear on my items but I try to buy the best I can afford or find at the time.
Hooray, another well spoken guest collector on the channel! Those very old Corgis are gorgeous and the art/vignettes on the Matchbox containers is very cool, especially the one for the cabin cruiser boat, great colors! Wonderful video. Hope to see Callum again!
There might have been another in the early 70s as my stepfather worked at a local scrapyard in SWANSEA, there were mountains of fire damaged diecast being trucked in for weeks, i saw all this myself as a teenager, all the popular models including boxes would be brought in. Mettoy soon heard that some of the staff at the scrapyard were selling the tidy ones at the local fun fair 😊 and had security to keep watch. absolute amazing to see the piles of smoke damage also fire damage die cast stuff fused together it would have made an interesting video if the video had been available at that time. Glad to have thought of that memory ... from your post 👍😎👍 Just out of interest, i went to an apprentice selection interview at the Fforestfach factory 1977 but did not get in however in my working career working on warehouse equipment i worked in the warehouse of the old Mettoy factory being rented out for storage and there was still Corgi memorobilia lying around on the ledges of the warehouse into the mid 90s happy memories now 👍😎👍
I came across a massive collection of mint boxed matchbox cars at a car boot sale 20 years ago in Exmouth in Devon. Back in those days I did not have much spare money, and was being nagged to come on. So I chose one model in a box, for 3 quid. 😆, still have it. Today I would have bought more, if not the entire collection. As I now collect vintage matchbox and hot wheels. Love the video, subscribed.

Lovely video again Jules. Just one thing, the BMW is a 3.0 CSL and not a 30 CSL. This is my favorite Matchbox model ever. Also the Merc 450 is anything but boring in Matchbox form or real life.
