I was rooting for Srbija because of many reasons: 1. You are amazing country which has suffered a lot in recent years. 2. I love the way you are. 3. I like teamwork and a good basketball team without ego. Regarding to the game, what can I say? Three quarters were played in a perfect and smart way, but the last one USA elevated their game with the help of refs who overlooked their violations intentionally. They "beat" you by only 4 points, I know it hurts, but chin up, you can be very proud of yourselves. My love and admiration to Serbia from Sevilla, Spain. ❤ and support to you, Hvala Srbija, this time bronze, in Los Ángeles might be gold.
Sorry bud, but the refs had nothing to do with the outcome. Serbia is an amazing team, but there were bad calls both directions. Refs didn't 'help' the US outscore Serbia 32-15 in Q4, the US was just on fire and Serbia wilted and couldn't make a shot in the end. In basketball momentum is everything.

US has more player rotations, Serbia is like how the Denver lost to Sacramento. Serbia got tired in the 4th. NBA players has more stamina in playing normally 48 mins. Just Imagine if Serbia has the same 12 NBA players that can play 48mins, there's no way that the US can comeback or if SC is off night. When SC is hot nobody can stop him even in the NBA. But a team with less NBA players lost to a full NBA team with a small margin it speaks a lot how good they are. Well done Serbia.
