Cross-field kick inside your 22 is insanity
Its Finn-sanity
Saints weren't great yesterday but that's the best Gloucester performance I have enjoyed in a long time! Come on Glaws!!!
Rees Zammit is scary man - lightning quick and massive as well. If he stays healthy what is he going to be like at 25 when he has filled out? I hadn't realized how big Billy Twelvetrees was either until I saw them side by side.
Proctor is the only player that should've been yellowed, he's the one that elbows LRZ on the ground and initiates the scuffle. I do wonder what the TMO is actually watching
Very subtle but caused the fight
I was thinking the exact same. I was so surprised when they said penalty against Gloucester. For sure it was the Saint's man on top of Zammit that started it...
Did he make contact with the head. If so that’s a red nowadays
Not really. The law doesn't just concern who instigated it but what each individual did. Careras charged in unnecessarily and began grabbing people round the throat. Why did he get involved?
Both the Northampton players jumped Rees-Zammit and they both should have been carded.
0:05 what in the American text to speech is that? :') "Ed Slayder!"
haha
HAHAHAHA, the thickness of the slang surely kicks in
Great match! Brilliant Gloucester rugby 😃👏!
That LRZ kid is good, ain't he?
Gatland woulda been mad not to have chosen him for the BIL
Nice one Sherlock. Pretty much the most talked about player in the northern hemisphere.
Less and less people are saying LRZ is overrated
What happened to naiaravoro? The guy is like a ghost on the pitch these last couple of seasons.
Turned into billy v lol
The Welsh Habana at it again
Hes the White Walker (ie Nigel Walker)...🤣🤣🤣
@@randyschwaggins brilliant 🤣
Neither play yellow carded on the hour merited a yellow card. A bit of pushing a shoving doesn't not merit an immediate caution, an explanation and a warning would have been more than enough. Yellow cards are not candy
Time ~3:40 with Rees-Zammit's second try.
How did Gloucester initiate that? The two Northampton players who tried to tackle Rees-Zammit as he went over decided to jump on him after the whistle. They started it, and should have both been carded. Should done of the Gloucester players who rushed in also been carded? Probably. But, if the penalty was for initiating it, it should have been against Northampton.
Best league in the world? All these sides have been pumped repeatedly in Europe over the last 4 or 5 years
What? 😂
@@tomblakemoremusic hasn't been plain sailing for eng clubs in europe, chiefs were badly needed to fill sarries' boots in 2020 after their downfall..
Except for all those champions cup wins the English sides have over the last 4 or 5 years
@@jonnybaynham1689 That's 2 teams one was found to be fiddling thr books and the other lost at home in a quarter final. After them two the quality is shockingly bad Quins lost to Racing by 50 or 60 points at home. Sale lost to La Rochelle by 45 or 50
Considering that La Rochelle then tore apart most of the Irish national team I don’t think that Sale did all that badly
4:49 never a penalty, he is way too low into the contact zone, what's the defender supposed to do?
Should be a penalty for leading with the head... Seriously, laws are supposed to protect players not be abused. If an attacking player comes into contact and uses the forearm to block the player it's a penalty. A head is a lot harder, stronger and can do far more damage to both players! He's literally a battering ram at this point and the tackler even got him on the shoulder, not neck or head, it was actually a brilliant tackle! Absolute bs of a penalty call!
He isn't "way too low" at all, this is how you are supposed to carry the ball, to make yourself difficult to tackle. The Saints player could've made a chop tackle if he wanted to but he decided to go for an illegal seatbelt tackle. Good decision by the ref.
@@tomstuppence605 Agreed. With how low JF-R was, man coming slightly from the side, chop would have been easy; could have also just pushed him down or grabbed back of the jersey and yank him forward if one feels he's more front-on. The carrier was toppling.
youve got rose tinted goggles on mate, his arm is around the neck, it doesnt need to be. he could have wrapped his arm lower. you could tell that the Saints 4 was frustrated by the spanking tbh, reckless tackles should be punished.
@Peace For All
I totally agree, should be another law in there for that kind of play.. plus he’s not a small lad so trying to catch his angles would probably result in a no armed tackle cause the defender can’t wrap when he’s lying flat on the ground.. something needs to change there
Forward pass by 12 trees on first try. I love flowing rugby but that was obvious.
Saints were dreadful, looked like lost children. Fair play to Glaws though they meant business
“Any other winger in the league would be covered”... what crack are you smoking. He’s 15meters out, get flatman off.
Big Flats just wants to bum the sh*t out of LRZ
