That chess shit consumed 5 of my vital stars L, and also 5 holy waters. Then 2 corrupted angels somehow got the better of me and forced me to use a gold orb. Never have i been so ashamed to use a gold orb in any DMC ever, this mission is probably the hardest one for me

Eventually I came to the realization that I utterly suck at fighting Beowulf, so instead I chose an alternate route. In order I fought: - A&R - Gigapede - Hells - Cerberus - Leviathan Though longer, I had much more consistency in this route than in the shorter one of only 3 bossess.
I've played dmc3 on pc for maybe 10 minutes total, never had an issue with input response on ps3. framerate is stable enough i haven't played the ps2 version since shortly after release so I couldn't make a comparison there but to my knowledge it runs better than HD collection
All Devil May Cry games, except the European version of DMC1 and DmC, always ran at smoothly 60fps even on ps2. If you ever have frame rate issues will be probably due to your pc, no worries about the consoles version.
Yes - because turbo mode speeds up the game 20% and buffered moves are about getting a certain number of button presses (forgetting the exact number right now) it means you have 20% less time to do so before the next move comes out, or another way to look at is you need to be 20% faster. if you're having trouble you could try using a longer move as your buffer, such as stinger

I started a dmd ss run last month and I finally just got ss on 18! This may just be the hardest things I've ever accomplished.

Honestly, i couldn't understand the idea of shortening down mission 18 to 3 bosses, watching this gameplay helped me a bunch for hard mode

Charged up royal guard on the queen then released it on the king. Activate Devil Trigger and it takes 3 of them to kill it.
I have beaten dmd mode with dante and versing vergil was really hard but i beat him
