Glad Brian got to have snow on his birthday. I'm in Southern Indiana we had snow, ice, more snow the first of this month. It's finally melting now and going to be in 30s and 40s next week. So cute seeing Cash play in the snow I could see her doggie little smile. I saw a Facebook Reel of Panama City Beach, Florida with snow on the beach - my mom took me and my kids there June 2024. I showed my kids that video they were amazed more like saying that's wild.
It brings me so much joy to see you all enjoy and love that snow so much. I live in Kentucky, so we see this not as much as Wisconsin or Michigan or something like that. But we do get snow. We just had 9 inches recently. When it’s that cold, your snow is less packed. It’s more fluffy. It doesn’t make as good as snowball as it does when it’s a little bit warmer because the snow is a little more watery and it’s a little more dense and packable.
I know you were worried about Cash getting too cold, but if she is running around, then she is getting warm and the snow would feel great! My dog absolutely loves the snow and she buries her face in it to sniff for stuff. I think its awesome that you got to experience the once in a lifetime snow. I am used to snow living in Wi! Its definitely a good thing you went and got groceries and stuff because you aren't used to driving in it! I do hope you enjoyed it!
Happy Saturday. Catching up on my videos. How fun for y'all 😁. Im 53 and during my life, in San Antonio, TX we got 15 inches in 1985 and then in 2021, we got about 7 inches. In 2021 that snow lasted about a week. The Texas power grid failed, and we were without power about 4 days.. it would come on for about 2 hours and shut off for about 6-8 hours. That went on for the 4 days. My husband is on oxygen and his machine is run on electricity. So we had to keep charging the portable machine in the car. It was a nightmare!!! This particular snow event we only got about 1/2 of an inch. Have a great weekend.

I live in WV we got 2 feet. We used to get that in a normal winter but for the past several years we have had very little snowfall. I was kind of glad to see it again and 2 of my adult children didn't have to go in to work for almost a week.!! An extended Christmas vacation!!!

Taren it has been snowing at my home non stop for 1 month. We bought a 🚜 with a blower on it 2 years ago because we get huge drifts in our driveway. I couldn’t imagine having your temps during the winter months so I go to Florida every year for mid winter vaca. 🇨🇦

The snow missed us! I live in northeast Florida about 30 miles inland of the Atlantic Ocean and 50 miles south of the GA border. All our neighbors in the FL panhandle got snow but we were spared. I loved this video…..we have way more snow where I live, in West Virginia, but it is normal for us….the tic tok trend here , is to go out barefoot and shorts and tank, and make snow angels…then you challenge like three friends to do it…the guys mostly do shorts and no top….everyone is doing it…I have to laugh at how many clothes you put on…lol.
