tip for 7-3: virtue beam counts as fire attack, so it burns leaves and grants you easy access to 7-S. that virtue from one of bloody tree arenas can help you with that. And you don't need to wack around with stupid pyro robots. This wouldn't be your saving grace in this challenge because the pool room and a maybe other difficult rooms. Idk if it would be worth to skip remaining rooms in 7-3 just for more pain
Its insane that powerups that aren't even featured in the secret level still have functionality with clash mode and that time was spent coding those custom functionalities.
Who's gonna tell him he has to do this over again ~2 years later when Ultrakill fully releases with all layers (with even more harder levels throughout layer 8 and layer 9) :) The relearning all of the strats/making new ones will be fun to see

In 7-3, the Virtue's divine light can burn the leaves blocking the secret level entrance, meaning you could skip the last room (and the rest of the level). The best way to do this is going to the room with 2 Virtues and Maurices, kill one Virtue, and run like hell to the entrance. This also works for 7-3's challenge as well.
I love very hard challenges! All the tech and skill needed is quite impressive! If you want another cool, very hard, challenge. Might I suggest Receiver 2? Specifically the Bozo's Torture Chamber campaign mod. It is, super super hard but so worth it to try and beat.

I'm going to try to branch out and play other games too while we wait for the full release, but I'm also going to try to come up with fresh new ideas for ultrakill instead of redoing the same challenges until that full release happens. I will be revisiting sparechange% soon, though.
I personally see the skip thing as you personally and accidentally found a useful skip. If you went running into every wall or scoured RUclips to find skips it's a different story but personally discovering and using one feels a ok to me
