Me being a fan of Radiohead brought me here.
You know ball🫡
Me too!
great demo, loved your heavy tune! nice pedal, my new Guvnor will be home this weekend!!
Thanks a lot mate and that’s very exciting 🎸🙌
Vintage sounds slightly warmer..
Great comparison. Thanks.
2:40/3:00 rounder thicker mids on the vintage
I have been used an original Shred Master for a couple of years and got a reissue one yesterday. They sound really close, but the new one is a little more smooth and saturated to my ears (This is what I heard from your demo, too). I’m going to replace the original one on my pedalboard!
Of the comparisons thus far, I feel like this one has the most variance between the original and the reissue. Just an idea- rather than point the knobs identically for both, perhaps set the knobs on the original and then tweak the knobs on the reissue to get as close to the sound of the original as possible. I’ve picked up the Blues Breaker and thought of getting the Shred Master but I feel like the Drive Master is a lot closer to the original so I might get that first. Anyway, appreciate your comparisons! Thank you.
I think the pedal in question might need a service. Other comparisons I’ve seen of these pedals have been more or less indistinguishable.
I have the original Shredmaster and it definitely needs a service as it’s got very dark over the years.
It’s misleadingly named as it’s a very versatile pedal and anyone needing an overdrive would be as well catered for with this pedal as someone wanting hard rock tones.
These are really excellent pedals.
@@rsmallfield Yeah you’re on to something there. I saw the Thomann video and the variance between the Shredmaster RI and the OG sounded more in line with the other pedals in this reissue. Thanks for the heads up.
you guys offer repairs on pedals. i got a electric mistress v2 thats got some problems with it and i dont know how to troubleshoot it but it is not sounding right if you guys reply i can send more info
Love your Les Paul.. can I ask what year is it? thanks
Thanks a lot, 1989 🎸
Thrash metal blues, love it! Or rather Thrash Metal without the Thrash, and the Metal… needs some high speed chugga, chugga! Sorry, just joking, really enjoyed the video, well done for stepping outside your comfort zone. The final jam shows you are learning the power of the dark side. You know you will give in to it sooner or later! Metal! 🤟
I need to get all these pedals. Thanks for doing the videos on them. To be fair, I should post a vid of me trying to play blues on the Blues Breaker… would still sound like badly played eighties metal….
King Fish Ingram uses it!
Another fantastic video have a good weekend also I went to the family doctor
Guitar name?
Pauleen Lesley
How Jonny Greenwood would set this pedal?
