I had 10 sealed boxes of 151 and this news allowed me to open one box with my son. I was able to replace that box for $118. The window to get this item for around $100 will come and go real quick and I plan on buying many more.
It always makes me happy when people can share the Pokémon experience with their families, this is so great 😊 And I agree that the lower prices are going to come and go quickly. For a set this popular, I expect any excess supply to be bought up super quickly, and I don’t think prices will get too much lower because of it. All the best and thanks for watching 🙏
We don’t know how big the reprint is going to be yet. My guess: it’ll be pretty big! I just don’t think even a large reprint will have that large an impact on the price and I don’t think the price dips last long. I could be wrong though and only time will tell! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Yessir!! It’s about damn time - it had gotten exhausting being a Japanese collector and needing to constant scrutinize the market, look for deals, and STILL pay so much 😅 The current market is better for everyone 💪
@@tcgbuyersclub indeed, it’s the set that got me back into collecting pokemon cards again it might drop a bit at first but as soon as they are out of print I think prices will go up pretty quickly, the set is just too fun to open in my opinion :)
It’s absolutely a great set and I’m bullish on it long term. I think that’s a great price but, of course, only time will tell if it goes lower. Either way, I also think it’ll go up again in the future so whatever price people get today is likely to look amazing over the next few years 🤞
See thats what we did. Bought JP cards because thry were dirt cheap for ever. Then flip flopped. Then it got to where you couldnt afford any of it without taking out a second mortgage
I feel ya 🥲 At least we’re getting back to the old normal where Japanese cards are cheap!! I’m feeling very optimistic about the future 😊 Thx for watching and sharing 🙏
It's a card game and investors shouldn't be considered at all. Tired of tcg investors. I don't mind cards having value but stupid investment jagoffs are making it hard to play card games.
There’s a balance there in my opinion but I know where you’re coming from. Right now, at least with English Pokémon, I don’t believe there’s too much difficulty in getting playable cards and building affordable and competitive decks, but certainly during the pandemic boom it was a bit of a nightmare at times. I’m a collector, investor, and player so I suppose I see it all differently. Anyway, thanks for watching!

Always enjoy hearing your take, looking forward to see how things pan out!
Thanks bud - really appreciate you taking a look 😊
How big is the 151 japanese reprint ? How deep can we go with the Display ?

Pokemon TCG should primarily be about ripping packs not hoarding all the supplies to resell later. So this is a good thing.
I horde a lot though 😬 Thanks for watching!!
Nice. I just want to open some Japanese booster packs so I'm glad to get the chance!

Well I’m getting 20 cases hopefully I won’t be taking an L lol anyways will be holding them for years to come
20 cases is a huge number! Good luck my friend 🙏 For what it’s worth: I’m sure it’ll turn out great over enough time.

Also I’m getting them at 90$ per box which I feel is a decent price if I’m not mistaken
