Hi ! Nice insight on the video. Was just wondering why it took you 6 months until you've made placements. what did you do wrong ?

is it better to go for the high ticket 100k job field or the lower 20k-40k region ones since you can rep out the volume making it easier to begin with?

Good question! In the past I worked only on contingency (free recruiting) and worked on lower level contract staffing reqs. That's not a bad place to start. I do suggest trying to get away from that model over time and focus on higher level (big fees) for many reasons. When I made that transition a few years ago my lifestyle improved and I never had to worry about a hiring manager ghosting me. It was secure business! Hope this helps.

@@recruitemy been looking around and wanted to. then i see the stuff of you need a website and an accountant and all the other mumbo jumbo and then saw your vid along others just showing to just start instead of overthinking it and then never starting it due to seeing the huge shopping list needed to get started so to speak.

That is an in depth info filled video. The point you made about websites, I always tell people why build a website when you have nothing to show them or say yet? I think many times it hurts more than helps. Once you have some placements under your belt and you have some quality candidates in your back pocket, having a site is a place for people to check out your history more than what you have on Linkedin for example. But by no means is it something you need out of the gate. More often than not is just another keep busy project taking you away from the things you should be doing that build income. Just my two cents worth.
