Looks delicious I missed fresh oha soup with cassava fufu/akpu
Notifications gang ❤️❤️
That Oha soup uhh goes down well with Gari Ijebu. You come top am with a scary story. 😆 thank God she was safe and sound 😍😍
I can totally relate with this video. I’m also very paranoid with my kids safety. Please do the video on how you were abused as a kid. It’s sad that abuse is/was so common with our generation when we were kids.
Kai Adaeze you and DIY eh..
The first day I tried this palm kernel stuff trying to make banga soup..I wept in the kitchen and promised God that if he could just deliver me from that attempt, ild never try it again.
😂😂😂😂 akwu can turn into a disaster real quick. My trick is to use way more than I need to avoid making it watery.
Oh my Neze u won't kill us with laugh oo😂😂
Choi!!
If I carry my bag and start coming back to Nigeria now, they will say I am doing longer throat 😭
AJ, that soups looks so delicious 😋
Now let me listen to gist 😂
Heyyyyyyy mummy kora our favorite story teller, this is ur first time cooking oha?🤣🤣never knew there's a real way to cook oha, so i've been doing the short cut😰😰😲
Wow... I.love oha soup and I can cook it very well
Oha soup, though not one of my best but I love it. All of these really bad stories can be overwhelming and makes one to act paranoid sometimes.
This is the authentic way of making oha soup
Ada Ada obodo oyibo pikin,so for ur life ,is ur first time cooking oha, cute woman queen nwokoyes twins sister
Ijebu garri is my best garri for Eba too. The taste is heavenly.
When will I ever be the first, anyways let me sit down and watch
😍😍😍😍yess
Hey we use akwu, banga instead of oil.Good morning dear. I can see the ingredientes girl the ede , Cocoyam.Absolutely Orah soup. Nostalgias.I can sell the ede that you 're pounding . AND to say the least I can smell the soup. It's so delicious 👍. You did a great job
Uha soup is my best soup but the way you twisted your eyes after tasting it hmmm ok oooo 😂😂😂
Oha soup I only eat this once when I was in Nigeria I really eat the Igbo soup yummy
Ada, you are very funny .. of- course oha soup is one of my best soup. Sometimes we need to be careful with our kids.
Yaaayyy!!!💃🏼
Please I followed you and said never ever ever ever ever everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! I can’t deal!!!!!
Awesome, fantastic & so cool .it's already been well with your soul, body & your family in Jesus name amen. So carry go dear.
We removed that part of the head or tip of the leaf so that the soup wont ve a bitter taste. And the leaf is not to be cut with a knife because as a child I was told, it will darken and make the leaf strong. Besides orab is a very soft leaf .Yes it's easy, and It's good to let our kids to be around when we cook👍,so they can learn. Thankfully my children learnt to cook because they love to cook.
My wife, you are a good cook. I was expecting to see you add stockfish, okporoko and dry fish, anyways when I am paying you a visit, I will demand that soup and would like you to put Isi na Nti Okporoko. And make sure you ask me to pay for your effort when I am done eating.
Cooking is really an extensive process for you guys 👏🏼👏🏼 how long did this take??
I just admire the orderliness in this video Ada!! am not Nigerian but it looks too yummy! does the cocoyam not make the soup have a slight bitter taste?
Welldone , I enjoyed watching the cooking process I’m not Igbo but love oha soup
Yes involving children in the kitchen is important
Meself I love hot food oo
See how she rolled her eyes at thirsting the food o 😂
Ah even me I’ll react like that oo this life is very wicked and people can be funny
We do use the tubercules to give achu a texture in 237 cmr, waooow
Wowwwww how were you able to roll your eyeballs like that when you had your first taste of the food. You should add that one of the weird facts about you. 😂
My grand mum says if you use knife the soup wont be as tasty as using your hand. Then the head of the oha will make the soup bitter, but fun fact I've tried using knife, I've used the head (biko plugging that leaf one one ain't for me) and I didnt notice any difference in taste.
Peel Oha ? My fav is Olugbo soup and very bitter.
Original IGBO Woman with no duplicate🙂.. I enjoyed this video but this soundtrack is as if your in the village 😄😄
Lool the soundtrack 🤣
Mhen I miss ofe oha oh
What you did was very good. You are smart some women are very lazy and carles if I didn't see my child for 2second I will be worryd is very good, you are like me l love ijebu gari than all this fufu oat pand
Your television might be on the floor🤣🤣🤣when kids are quiet just know something is on....Thank God for their lives, it's God that protects our children
Nice one👍 same soup i prepared two day ago....next time boil the banga and cocoyam together instead of using another pot for it🤗i love oha soup even if am not igbo
Hm...makes sense! Save time and gas. 🙏 thanks
How about the sand from the cocoyam getting into the kernel?
Normal na...you watch it very well before you cook or add it to d banga they av thesame cooking time😘
I think is Anambra that calls it Ora Imo state calls it Oha. Maybe is some part of Anambra that calls it Ora
My mum is from Anambra thats her best soup
That hand thing and loud voice you did at 14:06 is a whole Nollywood scene😂😂😂😂
Oha soup looks good. I’m not a Nigerian. But I eat the naija food.
I eat swallow because of soup too 😊 Oh God, that's my biggest fear in life (losing my kids) we as parents just have to trust our instincts. Adaeze the killer 🤣Thank God nothing happened to her. you are such a good story teller 😍
There is blended cocoyam in powdered form in the market ,it is easier . I can't come and be pounding ede i don't have strength biko
wait wait !!! Who turns Ijebu garri into Eva? Hey!! Adaeze!
This is my village soup o. Cocoyam and banga. Confirm Igbo girl. I still don't know why we use hand to cut oha and not knife, my mum says it will turn black. Hian! Let me join you and enjoy this soup... I'm licking my screen already.
That's what I heard as well. I have never seen black oha so I don't even know😄
I used to thicken my soups with ede (cocoyam) as a single girl...but my MIL taught me how to thicken with achi/ofo and guess who stuck with the easier one.
Amarachi told me about it! But I have never used it before. I heard there is dry cocoyam powder as well. Things are getting easier. No time for sufferhead.
The dry cocoyam powder is exactly the same. I have had mine for over a year now and still use it. It's as fresh as the first day.
Nezeville you tried to wait until you got married to start the easy way o. Guess who is already practicing the easy way already😂
First time I ate this was boarding school and it was yummy... helps honestly scare me , it’s God that keeps our children safe.
My best soup ♥️ am salivating already. If u want to kill the soup just add smoked Titus fish.
Am definitely trying it out soonest.
How you take dey do ur eyes like that???😀😀😀😀
Adaeze you didn’t overreact! I would have done worse lol. I’m over protective oooo, I don’t have time for stories that touch
The end product looks like cameroonian bakwery banga soup eating with *cocoyam bible* lol
Thank God Kora was safe
I m such a SOUPie too😍😍😍😍
I think you forgot to mention that hability of yours to turn around your eyes as you did at 8:13 in your video 'i was born this way' coz not everybody can do that
Lol
All I see is the oha soup😋😋😋
Your eyes after tasting the food 😂... is not as sweet as my Mama's own and then you remembered there's a camera infront of you😂😂🚶
First five to comment 💃🏾😂
Me I use powdered cocoyam and palm oil. I can't comman be stressing myself on top soup. Even if my mom is using this hard method I don't assist anything because I did not send her to do it. I just run away or form busy
Powdered cocoyam? Interesting
Correct soup
I don't enjoy food when am talking. Am just imaging how you are doing this..lol
Our mumy said stop talking while eating lol first time to comment in ur page from dynamite
Im just the same with my daughter...if im not going she's not going trust no one
I’ve heard about using oats to thicken soup but haven’t tried it before. Maybe I’ll try it some day..... I know my mum uses achi and ofo sometimes.
I have never tried achi/ofo. I will try it as well.
Ada, biko, everybody knows we call it ora soup in Anambra. Don’t miss inform the public please. You can clarify by saying, perhaps, few areas like where you come from call it oha. I come from Dunukofia area, formerly Idemili, and we call it ora. We actually make ours with sliced okazi(not blended) in Umudioka, Aforigwe .
Serious..... the authentic way of cooking Oha soup is a lot of work truly. I prefer it the authentic way, but I always add achi for that extra flavor asides the Ede.
Love you
