The thing I always loved about Thrice shows (back in the day) was how every person there knew every word to ever song. If you listen closely it sounds like he has a slight echo while singing the song, but its just the crowd singing just as loud as him. Rock on!
Have/had the same experience at the shows in Seattle. Wish they'd play more oldies than new ones, but I like them, too.

This video has been one of my favorites for a long long time. The fact it plays twice it's just a testament to its epicness.
Ah, Thrice and the "emo" scene. A lot of those bands predictably disappeared but I always thought Thrice stood out from the pack and looking back they were most definitely a cut above. As a huge 80s metal fan at a time when American bands seemed to be deliberately not playing cool guitar licks (late 90s), I remember the guitar playing of Thrice stood out to me. I was like, oh this guy is actually playing and then got into the band more from there. Thrice really took their songwriting and creativity to the next level on Illusion of Safety. Say what you want about the emo scene, that was a great album and Deadbolt was one of the classics from that one \m/
No they really didnt for a long time. Predictably isnt the word theyre the pioneer of experimental that were actually mature and screamo not pos pop emo

Idk if it's still out there but this was a cd/dvd combo of two of their House of Blues performances. It was released during/right after The Alchemy Index.

yea that live ending has been around since 2002-2003 but it was played a little different b4 it has more melody now. before it was just straight raw screaming!!!

I love hearing artists go back and update their classics like this. Like you ca. Tell the "extended" version is the Vheissu and beyond era. That's not a knock either, I love it. Just an observation.
