As a cypher fan who owns every book, I can't wait for the planar (Path of the plane breaker) to be added... but every book is needed ! I am SO happy about this project, the wayS (yes "S") it can be used, etc. thanks for that (both to monte cook for the the builder and you for the video!)
I already have a full Cypher adventure out, preview.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/449627/Isle-of-the-Dreaded-Accursed--Cypher-System?affiliate_id=1516286
@@MrTarrasque we've talked before -- i got the PDF months ago. just missed the message that it was out in print. thanks so much for all you do for the community, man. i'm a big fan of your Cypher work.
I really love this Character Builder ❤ But I have unfortunately some problems: Why are the Starting Special Abilities divided between the Special Abilities Section and the Skill Section? It's cool to have Starting Special Abilities in the Skill Section because I can track situations of Trained or Specialized in a Special Ability, but in that case I don't want to notice that my Starting Special Abilities Section has not recorded all my Special Abilities. And After completed a Character Creation, I tried to Edit a Starting Special Ability by clicking Edit but I can only change the Title, and not the content. Example: If I pick the Channels Divine Blessings Focus, I gain the Special Ability "Blessing of The Gods", which It grants a choice of its two sub-abilities. I can't Edit in the Skill Section Blessing of The Gods, which Is with the Full text 😢 However, with The Skills in The Skill Section I can Edit all the settings. Same thing if I add a Special Ability or a Skill in the Special Ability Section or in the Skill Section.
I understand your comment, but that's not exactly how it is. I'm leaving Wizards of the Coast behind. Everything they create will be ignored by me. 5th edition is a good system with a TON of great material from different companies. It's free to use for anybody and I still enjoy it, probably until I die. Also, the vast majority of my audience and writing experience is still in 5th edition. So translating an existing 5e adventure into cypher is the most efficiënt way to go.
I am an offline gamer, so this isn't very useful. All I got is my phone for everything. If it were an App that did not take up too much space I might putz with it. Otherwise, still at pencil and paper for me.
Please consider backing my current Kickstarter:

This system just keeps looking better and better.
Thanks for the overview. One additional feature to point out: the characters can be exported for Foundry VTT! 😎
Oh yes!

totally agree with every point, yes and yes again.
Love this video! Thank you for covering the new Cypher character builder!
Thanks! Trying to spread the word
Apologies, I'll not invest in 5e. I cannot wait for your produced Cypher books.

Thanks for the info, put it in my wishlist to save. On my favorite site to boot.

Is this the system that “Supernatural “ the RPG uses?
I think that uses the Cortex system

5e 😢
If my adventure becomes funded, I will do a cypher version crowdfunding later this year
@@MrTarrasque why 5e first? I thought we were all agreed that was best left behind?

@@MrTarrasque sounds good. Thanks!
i thought Zuzie Q was gonna be some sort of wafflemaker...
What makes you think that....? ;)

I also play pencil and paper. I use the app to make the char and then print it

I don't have a printer.
Can't afford a good one - the dry powder kind.
Liquid printers are a waste.
@Skeloric true,
You can still roll the character and then transcribe it onto paper. No need to let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
