Thanks to this episode, I decided to do my first Best Ball Draft of the season. In typical Jason form, I got the 12 spot. At least I have a good idea of how to play it now 🤷♂️
Good stuff. I won my redraft last year going with the Eagles stack of Hurts, Smith, Goedert. Now I have pick 12 and idk if I’ll get a shot at Hurts, so I’m debating going WR then getting Josh Allen at the turn. Hate not getting another top RB or WR there though

Chiming in again. Had to say that Jason is wrong when he said if you whiff on your second pick you'll lose your season. Completely untrue. Mosert was being taken in the last rounds. Puka .. Tank .. Kyren... Achane and even Laporta were all super stars that were taken late. Jason is forgetting one thing. The team you draft is a team. Best ball is automatic coverage. And I'll share a late draft te hint. Cole Turner Washington... He's going to have a brand new QB star throwing to him.

I guess this is what one does if not into fantasy MLB. I can't get interested in NFL this time of year: All of the projections now will drastically change by August. Don't see the point other than to kill boredom. Plus I would get burned out.

I don’t think it has happened in the last 3-4 years I’ve listened.
Not even a sentence on how it works.
So the discretion of draft picks doesn’t make sense.
If you explain during the episode, sure. Sorry. But it’s good to know before we get into it, rather than not knowing until we get it.
You even said it’s a different format than redraft but not detailing the difference.
Love you guys as a whole but I don’t think it’s an uncommon gripe on what a best ball is.
