There are a lot of arcs available in the second market because of people upgrading. I almost bought one for $500, but went for the arc ultra instead for $940. Saw too many reviews saying it was worth the upgrade. Plus I am upgrading from just tv speakers and won't have a base to pair, which I heard is more important on the arc. Pretty excited for the ultra to arrive.
Awesome! Kind of a weird statement: I don't have a back wall. You don't need a back wall for an amazing surround experience with Era 300's just buy the Sonos era 300 stands and place them behind your couch. In all of the advertisement pictures Sonos uses to show of this setup their is no back wall you see this exact setup. This setup is even beter because of the placement, with no back wall and the Sonos era 300 speakers behind you the audio is exactly on regular ear height. Also is the experience way better if era 300 is behind the couch otherwise the audio comes more from the sides than really behind you! Their are no tweeters facing and shooting at the back so audio don't needs to bounce at the wall behind you. Putting era 300 near your sealing or in mid air is also not recommended! This is because of the upward facing speakers. When you do this the Atmos effect won't sound amazing and simply sound terrible ! So for everyone who has this config, take them down, and read the statements on the website of Sonos!
Also the app is working very smooth my setup of Arc Ultra was done within 10 minutes so you don't need to worry. From one audiophile to antother buy this product, you won't regret it! Its the best Dolby Atmos experience on the market you will get in this price range and way way outside of it !

I had zero issues updating my Arc to the Arc Ultra (dual Gen 3 subs, Fives, iphone 13 pro max). Seems like some folks are not removing sub(s) and surrounds first before replacing the Arc?
@@mrgold3591What difference does that make? I have the arc, two era 300s and one sub gen 3. Used trueplay for the ultra but my only issue is that when used for gaming the sound is worse. For everything else it is improved. For gaming volume has to be turned up louder and bass is noticeably lower and some voices seem quieter vs the original arc.
@@memphisraines9008 What does the Sonos app show for the type of audio when you are gaming? It might be the game sending the different audio? I've noticed watching a NFL game with Prime Video using my cable Xfinity app only shows PCM stereo on Sonos app. The audio is in Dolby if I switch to my SmartTV Prime app. I would double-check the game audio settings.
What put me off from purchasing Sonos products other than the price was the issue they had was software a few months ago, I think if you're paying that kind of price for this product even though the sound quality is excellent you'd expect the software to be better.
I've used Sonos products since 2020 (I have 20 pieces today). I didn't realize folks were having so many issues with the software until I started research into upgrading my Arc to the Arc Ultra. I only use the app to install new or move around speakers, iphone Trueplay+EQ settings, and adjust all volumes at the same time for whole house audio. I use the TV remote, iphone airplay, or use the option of pressing play/pause button on speakers to enable/disable extra speakers to include for whole house TV or music audio.
I have arc ultra(no sub). The problem I noticed is when I play a RUclips video which has audio 5.1 I can’t hear anything until I increase the volume to 50+ can anyone help me? I played interstellar movie in RUclips which is free and has 5.1 audio channel😊
No soundbar can match a 5,7 channel or Dolby Atmos component system -- especially when the music or movie is broadcast in multiple channels. It is REAL multi-channel where the sound actually comes from around you instead of just being virtualized.
I went with Sonos because of the ease of use, sleek modern look, doesn't overpower a room with large components/speakers, NO WIRES to run, easy for anyone to use in a pinch, and easy to upgrade depending on budget and audio needs.
I would say dollar for dollar, it’s impossible for a traditional setup to compare. Audioperverts (“audiophiles”) need not the blissful simplicity of the Sonos system.
Please stop using AI Voice for different languages- its creepy and it sucks

Génial , la traduction vocale de RUclips 🇫🇷

arc for $550 or ultra for $1000, which would you choose?
Black Friday sales has arc at $699 now

True, but for many people convenience supercedes ultimate sound quality. To each his own!
I’d argue it’s hard to compete today for 90% of people

Not all of us have got big houses to put a massive tv in.
That's why there is a range of soundbars! :-D
This bar suck. Has only 1 EAC HDMI. And zero HDMI in
