Makoto Misumi was just an average teenager who suddenly was summoned to another world as a "hero." But the goddess of this world called him ugly and took his hero status away from him, then sent him to the ends of the world. He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and many other non-human races in the wastelands. Makoto manages to show promise in the use of magic and fighting, which he wouldn't have been able to do in his former world. He has numerous encounters, but will he be able to survive this new world? A fantasy where a guy who gods and humanity had abandoned tries to reset his life in this new world is about to begin!

That silence kai literally looked like those horror stories about creatures in the forest, when suddenly the birds, the insects and even the wind go quiet, and you know something _very bad_ is roaming close by.
the idea seems rather cool. makes me wonder if any games have employed a similar concept. I'm sure there has but I haven't remembered any that do. I think it would be quite interesting for a player to start strolling up into a room only for the game to suddenly loose sound for a bit. Could signal this to the player by making things go quieter the closer you get to said room and then suddenly any companions the player has get incapacitated one by one. Bonus point if this is used in a multiplayer situation where other players in the ground are randomly taken out temporarily leaving it as a 1v1 fight between the last player and whatever creature just incapacitated you squad.

@@Klaaism I don't think that fits what I meant exactly. Considering they are stealth games silence is a big part of the gameplay itself but not in the way I'm thinking of.
@@raventhorX If you mean dynamic sound systems, music usually used more to build up the dramatic effect. ie boss music.

Makoto is one of my favourite isekai protagonist! So happy this anime returned

@@Mithrandirsmother I would say that Moonlight fantasy does comedy and lighhearted moments better than tensura. The way Makoto gets unwillingly entagled with everyone's shenaningans never fails to make me laugh. plotwise and worldbuilding wise, tensura slaps tho. Altough i have a hard time deciding which one has better secondary characters because tensura has more cool characters but MF has a few that are just fantastic (mainly Tomoe)

@@subhayanmitra1440 The second season is scheduled for 24 episodes, so technically yes as the first season only had 12. But I don't think an actual 3rd season has been confirmed yet.

That was badass and those bandits got off easy, imagine if it was Shiki or Mio instead of MC.
Mio would just eat everything
Mio would have devoured them instantly and Shiki would have used them as guinea pigs for his experiments, they definitely had it easy.

Man it felt like a huge injustice that anime like smartphone and fruits of evolution got a second season, yet Tsukimichi didn't. Finally - balance has been restored!

A lot of people like it, I am one of them, it all depends on how early you dropped it, if you dropped it before he gets Tomoe and Mio as his followers then it does get better from there. the peak of this is really after ep 6 I think.

To be honest I find makoto too average and boring. Also he should get involved against Hyumans because they r arrogant, greedy, and bad people who I think will never change. His gonna encounter them a lot so might as well deal with them.
Makoto is not a hero, nor he thinks of himself as such.
