I have a ST just like that one and love it! Last year I did a 4000 km trip in Norway with it. Really good bike and people are always suprised how old it actually is.
Hi, stumbled by chance about your video. The ST-series is known for its reliability (and twirks). Just three days ago I got my DucaticST2 back from a major overhaul (it had been left alone in the garage for some years) and so far only had the chance to start the engine. You may imagine my big grin while listening to this sound.
Hey, thanks for watching. The ST3 has been sold and the new owner is delighted with it. I do know they are bombproof, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. And yes, I can imagine your grin!! Lucky you ☺️
That bike doesn't have a manual choke ! That is a fast idle cam to help with warmup !!!! 😊😊😊 can also be used as a cruise control, won't have much speed but it does. Work !!! Put 205,000 miles on my 2001 ST2 and use it a fair amount!!😀😀😀🏍🏍🏍🏍🍺🍺🍺
Ah, right. A predecessor to the modern cruise control 😂 I have used the bike for two weeks so I haven’t figured it all out before it moved in. A brilliant bike indeed! 😊
@@Biker_Maja 😀😀😀😀😀🏍🏍🏍 only shot one video of my ST2 , but you may enjoy it!!!! BTW , this is the SECOND time around! ruclips.net/video/voMQ-4Xo-7Q/видео.htmlsi=uVnFy3NmMFYEMBkN
205,000 miles? That's incredible. More people need to share stories like yours. My Italian bikes have never let me down, but I've never ridden miles like that!
@@scotcopeland8752 thanks rider!!!! I got the ST2 after trading in my 1991 900ss!!! WITH 197,000 miles on it loved that bike, no video of it but you may enjoy this video of the ST2 😁😁😁🏍🏍🏍 and this is the SECOND time around!!!! ruclips.net/video/voMQ-4Xo-7Q/видео.htmlsi=MoG0MZS1HYewzBnd

I was very impressed. It was bought by a Ducati dealer manager and I still see his adventures on the ST 👌🏼
I have the same one, bought it new in 2005...still runs great!
@@lumenlarry6197 I almost wish I have kept it! Really impressed with the way it handled and how comfortable it was. A brilliant bike!

Well done Maja👍🏼 have fun with it.
I did! Amazing bike 🤩
@@Biker_Maja You did, you mean you got rid of him already?
It was never mine, just a loan that was sold on. I kind of wish I had bought it tbh.
