  • We first released the song Burgs in 2015 featuring a gorgeous discourse from spiritual teacher and meditation expert Guy Burgs.
Over the years we have been continually blown away by how the song keeps reaching so many people in such an organic way. We’re very thankful to every person that has sent us a message to say how much it has impacted them.
Featuring the incredible work of underwater filmmaker Perrin James, we’re really excited to share the new music video. Perrin’s breathtaking footage showcases the natural beauty he and diver Morgan encounter in the oceans in their home of Hawaii. As Morgan dives, explores, and takes in her surroundings in awe it mirrors the sentiments spoken by Burgs: “notice what you're already part of.... appreciate it and share it.”
We hope you love this video as much as we do.
    Directed by Perrin James

I cry listening to this every single time, it hits so deep, I never want to forget what I came here for. Sending love to you all

I absolutely love this song and as a therapist, have used this with my PTSD group, both with the video and without. The resulting discussion is heart-wrenching. The soldiers in the group were grateful to see the profoundness in simplicity and kindness. Thank you so much for this song. It has been helpful for me and so many others. The video is a beautiful work of art, as nature has/will always be.

This song is a Jewel ❤ I play this during plantmedicine journeys and Sacred Rapé, it is mindblowing and always gives me goosbumps. And also always grounding me to the moment. To be in the moment. "We end up making our lifes so extraordinary complicated, and it's such a shame" ❤🙏🦋🌷
We are here to life an awesome life. Thank you for this mesmerizing clip.

    Lyrics: (1:08)
I, I think if I could get you to do one thing
I would say that when you get to the point that you...
Really feel, highly motivated, to, just, towards keeping your virtue...
Then you'll you'll discover quite quickly how extraordinary a life was meant to be, could be
And it's, it's just we get so messy, it's not that we are doing lots of wrong things, our mind is so messy
    We don't keep it simple
And we end up making the life that we are living, so in-ordinarily complicated
Completely unnecessarily, and it's such a shame to end up feeling, in a real muddle, while actually, you ought to be having the time of your lives
It doesn't actually take very much to make the deepest part of us incredibly happy
    You know?
Just to be here, just to appreciate
    Appreciate being here
    To feel that you're alive
To be in touch with your heart
    That's it
    That's it
It takes mindfulness to come to a human life
And then above that, it takes mindfulness and virtue, to come to a fortunate human life
The chance to be part of this happens briefly
The invitation is not to show how inventive and imaginative you are
But how much you can notice what you're already part of
And appreciate it and share it, and care about those that are around who count for their welfare while you are looking out for your own, that's it
And then you'll get to the end of it, having had an awesome time
Knowing, that that is something you'd recommend to others
    Ah
    You all know
You already know this place inside, where it's alright
You all know that when you let the ego go, it's not this black hole that you jump into
    You all know it
    Why can't we do it?
And yet the world is creaking under the strain of this in-ordinarily complicated mass of humanity and actually you know, it's really simple
    When you came here
You came here with a sense of awe and wonder, dying to just see what it's about
You know, it's like, what would it be like?
    To be down there?
    To be part of it?
And you came here with a sense of wonder, and somehow the wonder of it wasn't enough and we stopped wondering and started to wonder about ourselves
And in your wondering about yourself, you forgot what you came here for, what you came to be a part of

Fucking hell man, this tune brings so many deep thoughts about family life to my mind and it is truly spectacular, yet also daunting. These past few years have been fucked, but this song brings that light at the end of the tunnel and brings hope to my soul that things will get better if I change those bad things in my life, heal and become better as a human in whatever way that I think to be good. it's not too late guys to change shit and become better ❤️

When I went to my grandmother’s funeral in 2005 I heard my Amis family singing/ chanting in their native tongue (most primary speak Mandarin). It was one of the most touching and beautiful things I have ever witnessed.

I, I think if I could get you to do one thing
I would say that when you get to the point that you
Really feel, highly motivated, to, just, towards keeping your virtue
Then you'll, you'll discover quite quickly how extraordinary a life was meant to be
    Podría ser
    Could be
And it's, it's just we get so messy, it's not that we are doing lots of wrong things
    Nuestra mente es tan desordenada
    Our mind is so messy
    No lo mantenemos simple
    We don't keep it simple
And we end up making the life that we are living, so in-ordinarily complicated
Completely unnecessarily, and it's such a shame to end up feeling, in a real muddle
When actually, you ought to be having the time of your lives
It doesn't actually take very much to make the deepest part of us incredibly happy
    ¿Sabes?
    You know?
Solo para estar aquí, solo para apreciar
Just to be here, just to appreciate
    Agradezco estar aquí
    Appreciate being here
    Sentir que estás vivo
    To feel that you're alive
Estar en contacto con tu corazón
To be in touch with your heart
    Eso es todo
    That's it
    Eso es todo
    That's it
It takes mindfulness to come to a human life
And then above that, it takes mindfulness and virtue
Llegar a una vida humana afortunada
To come to a fortunate human life
The chance to be part of this happens briefly
The invitation is not to show how inventive and imaginative you are
But how much you can notice what you're already part of
    Y apreciarlo y compartirlo
And appreciate it and share it
And care about those that are around who count for their welfare
Mientras buscas lo tuyo, eso es todo.
While you are looking out for your own, that's it
And then you'll get to the end of it, having had an awesome time
Knowing, that, that is something you'd recommend to others
    Ah
    Ah
    Todos ustedes saben
    You all know
You already know this place inside, where it's alright
You all know that when you let the ego go, it's not this black hole that you jump into
    todos ustedes lo saben
    You all know it
    ¿Por qué no podemos hacerlo?
    Why can't we do it?
And yet the world is creaking under the strain of this in-ordinarily complicated
Mass of humanity and actually you know, it's really simple
    Cuando viniste aquí
    When you came here
You came here with a sense of awe and wonder, dying to just see what it's about
Ya sabes, es como, ¿cómo sería?
You know, it's like, what would it be like?
    ¿Estar ahí abajo?
    To be down there?
    ¿Ser parte de eso?
    To be part of it?
And you came here with a sense of wonder
And somehow the wonder of it wasn't enough
And we stopped wondering and started to wonder about ourselves
Y en tu pregunta por ti mismo
And in your wondering about yourself
You forgot what you came here for, what you came to be a part of
