I have some old, pre-World War II Italian paperback novels in which all the pages are uncut (so they have never been read). The printer produced wraps which were bound in the correct order and glued along the spine to the cover but it was up to the reader to separate the pages along the edge with a sharp knife. I'm amazed that the original purchaser of your comic didn't cut the page edges to be able to read the story.

World Finest is the 3RD Superman/Flash race. The second was in Flash 175.

It is most certainly not a 7.0.
Be careful who sees you putting books in your locker, they'll be tempted to break in. Get a bigger locker so you can pull down the door while you're inside
I collect Byrne, but have never paid attention to how he draws children. It's his adult female characters that blow away many other artists' abilities. BTW that was Superman 300, not 200 -- story set with Supes born in '76 and becoming an adult by 2001.
CGC refers to that page defect on the WWBN comic as Siamese pages . I'm always amazed that these stayed connected. What kid bought this off the newstand and didn't tear the pages apart so that he/she could read the comic?

That is not a widely held opinion, but I’m not going to yuck your yum.
You were close on the World’s Finest issues, 198 and 199, but you were wrong. That’s the 3rd and 4th Superman/Flash race. The first was Superman 199 and his second was Flash 175.
A 9 for that Superman issue? What about the date written underneath the S? Wouldn't that bring the issue down a grade or 2 or not?
Date stamp/ dates written do not negatively impact the grade as it was common practice and is a historical marker for the book.

Jim, those bronze age Superman were the ones I read as a 10-12 year old 🙂
They appeared to be in at least 6.0 -- how could I see them to purchase online, if you wish to sell them that way..

5:02 - wow, no love for Mongul, huh? LOL Seriously though, you might want to throw that one into the Spec pile. Snyder already (sort of?) used Darkseid; with Gunn rebooting a DC movie universe, Mongul is not a bad bet for the "big bad" of his universe. Got my own copy just a few days ago from my LCS.

Hands-down, this was a great collection, for all sorts of reasons. Have you ever had a HULK #181 before? Unbelievable.
I spoke with Lloyd Kaufman, creator of THE TOXIC AVENGER, about the new film. It's done,filmed,edited, whole 9 yards but the studio is Trying to find the best way to release it as there's really no hype surrounding it presently and the comic movie markets a bit soft. Said though Troma studios isn't involved he's been staying on top of anything surrounding it's possible release. Sounds as if a streaming premiere may be on the table.

One thing I CAN NOT STAND, is when I go to buy a collection, and the owner starts pulling books to either keep, or starts driving the price up.
