Thank you sooo much! You answered several questions I've had and couldn't find answers anywhere else. It's very helpful to see you actually pulling off leaves, etc., and not just telling us what to do.
You can plant with all those babies but understand each plant will inevitably become a hen and have many pups to spare as well. It would become a big clustered group of hens and chicks.
Mine is dying :( I keep it outside and I hadn’t been watering because I’m scared to overwater. I just put it into a smaller pot and added some pebbles. And I’m taking it inside. Maybe it’s too hot for my plant outside in SA, Tx
Hi..i have hens and chics that survive my cold and snowy climate outdoors and come back every year..but could I bring some indoors to have as an indoor houseplant?Thank you
Yes totally! However, these do need lots of light so I would make sure they are by a very bright window. If they don't have enough light they will stretch and look ugly. If your in the northern hemisphere a south facing window is best.
Thanks!!! You had the info I needed.

Thank you for this video! I would love to see what they look like after they've filled in!
Excellent video!! Thank you so much for all the information 😊🙏💜
I’ve been gifted some hens and. Hicks from family and I’m searching the best way to plant, soil, depth, etc. thanks so much.
I would recommend AGAINST watering directly after replanting. I wait 3 days minimum
Good information
Hens and chicks can survive sunlight from outside or i must say can i plant it direct to the sunlight with heavy rain sometimes?
So I was told that I need to have gravely soil, but your soil looks like just regular dirt so can I skip the gravel part?
Thanks for the video. I wonder why you could not plant those babies directly in the soil in your video? Why do they need to be grown separately ?

@@blushblossoms677 thank you so much
The double with one stem that you have is actually a crested semp! Congratulations! They are not easy to come by.
