You said to use the H14 socket, then were using an air hammer, with no explanation in between. Is it common for these plugs to be stuck? Why didn't you use the H14 to break it loose? Just curious.
I took my 2014 subaru outback to the mechanic to install one of this, but the manifold was right on front of the plug for the block heater . was not able to install it. installed a oil pan heater instead.
