Hey hey ❤️❣️
Hey! This looks so juicy! I always hear about this brand, but I never see it anywhere, so I don't pick it up. I never even remember to look for it. I hope I find it because our hair is similar and I may love it as well.
Hola Hola 👋🏿😊
Hey hey queen.
TRY CRECE PELO. Its wayyy better for natural hair than silicon mix.
Try TIO Nacho,.
SHAMPOOS!!
CONDITIONERS.
SO IS THESE. PRODUCTS SILICON???
BASED???
I'm Dominican and I can confirm that our hair products have been on top of their game for a while now. We have great variety, esp. for afro hair. I think is because the formula is designed, not only based on texture but on tropical climate. Believe me, I'm 4b and even the cheapest products can help your hair, I particularly love the deep conditioning treatments and the CrecePelo line from Boé.
Yesss. I have been on crece polo for years.
Crece Pelo es buenísimo.
That makes so much sense becasue out hair is FOR hot climates but we use products(even afro ones) that are formulated based on cold climates since Europe and America aren't really tropical. Ughhh we're being scammed
I have thin white people hair but I’m Puerto Rican. It has split ends, dry, damaged and is brittle. Which product would be best for me
as a cosmetology teacher, I don't even teach hair as ethnicity.. I teach hair as a fiber, i get it though products are not even marketed to hair fiber but to the race....so in actuality so called hispanic products as the video mentions will work on so called black hair because we have the same hair textures throughout the races...so the lady in the video is not discovering anything new.
I’m so glad that we are finally realizing that hair is hair and that labeling an ethnicity on hair products is just a marketing scheme. Effectiveness of products is due to quality ingredients, your own hair porosity, density, and the design of your hairs cuticle.
Exactly 💯
Yaasssss girl absolutely yes, I'm guilty about belief in the toxic marketing that made use only "clean products" but thanks God I decided to do with my hair what I want to do, and use the products that work good in my hair not matter if is "clean products" or not.
I disagree! All products are not necessarily good for 4c hair
@@BD091959 I was about to say… 4C/tight coily curly hair got a mind of it own and legit will fall out if you breathe on it wrong 😭😭😭
I don't agree with this statement.
Natural hair is the bomb!! So is natural skin without bleaching!!!!
PEOPLE HAVE SOME SERIOUS ISSUES FOR BLEACHING SKIN.
One word: Dominicans. There’s a reason why we used to flock to their salons back in the day. Minus the blow out, they work wonders with your hair, especially with their deep condition with the steamer. 💥
Yeah and their dollop of relaxer in the conditioner! Yeah wonders 🙄
@@Dirtnap1986 Right? Super bone straight and boom! Paper thin and damaged!
“We” used to flock to them because they achieved the super straight European look -similar to the perm. And just as damaging.
@@Dirtnap1986 wait. They would sneak relaxers into their conditioner?
@@mzomg7671 yes ma'am
Indian products are AMAZING on tightly textured hair!!!!!! There’s a brand called Vatika that has some of the best deep conditioners I’ve ever used. Crèce Pelo is a Latino brand that really strengthens and softens hair. Products def aren’t ethnicity specific. There are some white brands i swear by.
So it doesn’t work on tightly coiled hair?
White hair products can tend to have more alcohol in it...making my hair soooo dry and frizzy. Garnier Fructris is fantastico! Esp leave in conditioner.
@@tmichelle2648 no it was a typo, it should have said "on" i fixed it. I have 3c/4a hair and I love Vatika, the entire line on my hair...literally does everything it says it does! I buy off Amazon or my local international market.
Very true. Back in the 90's before I had the responsibilities I do now. I used Leonor Greyl, it was wonderful for my hair. Nowadays I tend to purchase products made for Afro- textured hair made by Black owned companies. My hair has never been healthier. In the end it's about what works for your particular hair.
@@tmichelle2648 i think so. I don’t wear my hair in styles that require a ton of moisture to style (twist/braid outs) and i blow dry my hair more or less naked (heat protectant only), Indian and Latino brands (just like Afro brands) i usually only gravitate to their deep conditioning products, shampoos, and Ayurvedic oils…so yes all that works amazingly in my hair….would i trust them to get me through a wash n go, no, but i don’t wear that style.
Dominican hair products have always been created for type 4 hair that's why most of their products are good.
help me with some names of some products here in the US please??
Not just type 4 all sorts of curly hair in the 3 aswell.
Dominican hair products have very good natural ingredients aswell
Do you have any recommendations for hair moisturiser/leave in conditioners?
Not just for 4 type Hair but our products cater to most hair types. Sadly most products carry straightening agents, because most people in the country have a hatred for “bad hair”.
@@thatlendy9696 i can believe it.
It would be interesting to see you trying Brazilian products for natural hair. I have 3b-3c hair and my sister 4a-4b. When we lived together, we used the same products, so I needed to find something that worked for both of us. There is so much products that are cheap and good for natural hair! My sister hair is so long and healthy and she never used expensive or "professional" products. Curly hair and natural hair are so common here that the hair industry, now, is build toward this type of hair. People with straight hair usually complain that there's no straight hair products (this is changing thou).
What Brazilian products do you use? Are they available in the US?

This video has really made me appreciate the different textures of my hair. It used to frustrate me so bad but not anymore. Thank you Razor Empress 😊
Be careful of using Silicone products. I had been using that brand for years (7+) and it grew my hair out, but my hair was just bandaged with silicone. Once I stopped using it, I was able to see holes in my strands, and splits up my strands, and realized that my hair was long but not healthy.
Silicone products do not provide actual healthy hair, but the appearance of it. I now stick to au natural
Well she uses grease and head and shoulders and her hair is fine so maybe just let people use what they want (:
AMEN! I only used those (Silicon) and other hispanic) products when I was relaxed. Now like you, I only stick to natural products to keep my hair nice and strong and healthy!
Exactly why I stayed away from that brand. Nothing wrong with having silicone in products and yes, there are water soluble ones. But that’s just too much in one product…
@@ayanna4165 pay attention to the “be careful” part…
Exactly.. .. silicone only coats. So it's value is purely aesthetic. It doesn't AT ALL treat, build, support, replenish nor aid the hair in ANYWAY
I am so happy you liked it! Thank you for sharing this video I am Afro Latina born in Puerto Rico raised in the Dominican Republic and have an Indonesian background. I have follow you for a while now, and I love your channel. Like I said your hair is gorgeous God bless it. If you would have put heat it would've came out, even more softer so you are on the right track. I'm glad it works for you God bless you and stay safe if you need any help in any Latino or Spanish product hit me up LOL 🙏🏾🥰🌺🦋💛
What’s some other top favorites of yours. I saw they have a leave in. I’ve used this deep conditioner for years and love it. Have you tried the leave ins.
@@daddysgirl42194 Hello 👋🏿 I use a variation of products from time to time, I tend to do a lot of DIYs lately they seem to be more affordable and less chemicals in it. But when I don't have the time to make my DIYs I use the following and that all depends how my hair looks and what my hair needs.
Alter Ego drops
Dominican Magic
Crece Pelo
Lafier ( old school Dominican product)
Salerm
Nexxus
Una
Toque Magico
These are just some but like I said it all depends on what's going on with my hair and what is needed at the moment so I pick from this list. But I'll be honest with you right now I'm using a lot of DIYs because sometime it cuts down money and my hair is thriving. But I still use products like this from time to time due to my crazy schedule. I hope this helped 🙏🏽🥰
@@Summerstreetzmn55 Wow.! Beautiful mixture. 🙏🏽🥰
Damaris Rodriguez: I would very much like to connect with you for assistance on getting natural products from your location.
I’m in the U.S. and do not trust what is being brought in as MOST of EVERYTHING comes from China and not of good quality.
Please reply so we can connect!❤️
Do you mind sharing some of the dyi's you use?
Hi. I've been using the Silicone Mix Bambu for more than 5 years and it's my favorite. I'm from DR and my hair is 4z😁
Hair is good just left alone.Blue magic egg and a little mayo.Always have worked for me.What the hair can't stand is all these different products.I never left my Roots and I'm 55yrs.Very strong very thick 4c hair waist length.I do a trim two times a year.I always tell women when they ack me.How did I grow my hair I say go back to your Roots.Back in the day we didn't have all this for our hair.We used what we had at home. And that was Hair Grease Egg and Mayo.Works wonders!
See also: genetics😄 My hair is thick, curly 3A-3C and grows really really fast, but so does my Mom's and aunts! My Dad's sisters? Shorter thinner hair & they do more for growth. Everyone just does what we can!
CHILE!!! WHAT YOU SAID!!!
Don't get me wrong ladies, it doesn't matter where you are so as long as you are of color. But what she says about Blue Magic and using Helman's mayo is 💯 on point!! Also, there was also Afro Sheen and all of their priducts...THE ORIGINAL BRANDS. Blue Dax was used when you wanted to hot press your hair. And the very first relaxer was Vigoral. You used your hot comb to help with the straighten. Deep, deep conditioning mash up an avocado and mix it with the mayo, leave on 20 to 30 minutes wear a plastic cap and a hot, damp towel and rinse it out real good.
It if you had someone in your fam that really knew how to used that hot comb, you got your hair.. it's what yall call silk pressed. Blue Magic, the Dax that the guys used to make waves and The Marcel grease. Those were was used back in the day.
Or good, old fashioned Vaseline. Now, today yall got all of these different stuff. I used to use the following when I had locs: olive oil, coconut oil (Virgin..no scent), Gravesend oil, and castor oil. Drop some pure peppermint oil in the oil or warm some rosemary in it. That's it.
Yes yes yes!! Less is moorrree. They in their head too much stressing it out loll
frl?/
It’s true shout out to the blue magic hair mob the organic super grow is good for me keeping it simple
Absolutely love
Your hair loves almost all moisturizing products 😍
When I was working and had the money I went to my Dominican hair stylist every two weeks. My permed hair stayed strong, well conditioned and grew down my back. I miss her. Shout out to the Dominican hair goddesses!
Thank for giving us a look-see on the hair products you use! Did not get to see you style your hair for the end results. Your hair beautiful! God bless you!!!!!!!!!!!
I always look for your uploads. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing this!
Good morning everyone, what's good for one person may not be good for another that's why we all must find what's right for our scalp as well as our hair have a blessed day.
Your hair looks awesome. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I would love to try this.
Sooo pretty ... good job my friend
Haven't tried this product line.
... looks fantastic! 😊
Love that product! I use it every week as my treatments. Been using it for years.
ORS Setting Foam is DA BOMB for a wash and go on my hair. I can actually get rid of shed hairs that my wash and conditioning missed while I'm applying it and the ORS gives me both a soft hold and shine. I happened to find the ORS Setting Foam when I was cleaning out old hair products that i used or tried to use when I was relaxed ten years ago. I'm glad I held on to it and tried it. Now it's a staple for my natural hair.
@Linda B do you layer any other product over top of the foam or you just use the foam by itself?
Thanks for sharing your review/experience. I’ve seen the original one in some of the beauty supply shops here in Antigua but I can’t remember seeing the argan oil one. Will be on the look out so I can try it. Thanks again.
I have been using Salerm for a couple of decades now! I try other products; but ALWAYS end up back with Salerm!
Hi love I'm from Dominican Republic, that conditioner is very good, the price here it's around 3 to 4 us .
Glad you discovered products popular in DR. You may want to try Crece Pelo conditioners. I think they work very well 💜
I’m hearing a lot about that one🤔
I've been using the deep conditioners from this line and the Baba De Caracol line alternately for over 10yrs. I started when I used to relax(my Dominican stylist used to get them before they started selling it here in the US) and as a natural. 2 tried and true DC's I can cosign!!!
Yes ma'am 🙏🏽👍🏾
I haven’t used that one but I’ve used the original one and I really like it!
Girl you know you have some gorgeous hair! I will be trying me some Hispanic products!
I love your hair!! Very healthy& beautiful
I tried these products years ago and my hair was relaxed and they work fine. I just forgot about them thank you for reminding me💜🤗
I have fine, low-ish density curls & there are a few products that I have & LOVE that are marketed toward type 4 hair 🤷🏽♀️ I've really studied ingredients & learned what usually works for me & what doesn't, & go by that when deciding what to try. there are even a few heavier products that actually work great, I just can only use a very tiny amount.
that's why I always encourage people to try to learn about common ingredients, how they're classified (ie conditioning agent, emollient, humectant, film former, hold ingredient, etc), & keep track of what you're using by taking pics & make a note of products used (you can do this by clicking "add details" in Google photos as one example)
your hair came out beautiful! 😍🔥
I'm extra and always add a little something to my DC. I added some of my DIY hair growth oil and a teaspoon of amla powder and ma'am...my hair was feeling amazing!!! It was moisturized, yet strong. I basically made a balanced DC instead of just a moisturizing DC. I love it! I use it 3x, then I use a DC that I've DIY'd myself. That rotation has my hair hydrated, (because there's a DC difference) from my DIY and moisturized, and strong from this with the added amla and growth oil. I have less breakage, like almost none, and much less shedding as well. I'm hooked!!!
I’m in love with your hair! 😍
Wowwwww! What beautiful hair you have.
I love your hair. I can’t keep up with you. I just got my blue magic products restocked. Thank you for the fresh new content! You Rock sis!
I was just thinking this... I just bought the hemp
@@CinnaMa I know right. I got the mango lime and the olive oil leave in conditioner. Then I got the organic coconut and castor oil. Do you like the hemp? I like it! One of The best things about blue magic are the prices.
I had the coconut b4 this one, lol... from what Ive used so far, yes I do like it, && I want to try one of the wet ones, next.
@@CinnaMa Indian Hemp? 😀 My hair loves that!
Beautiful curls princess 😍 and those eyelashes of yours are so 💎 glossy 💎 too!
My goodness you have a lot of beautiful hair to care for! Silicone Max, yes, good product to have in the rotation. Sometimes you need it sometimes you don't.
I went to the Dominican salon faithfully my entire childhood and my good sis Marcia put me on early! I love this stuff, it made my hair grow so much. She would compliment my hair all the time 🥰
I've veen using this for about 10 years now. Love it
Yes this is definitely a throwback goodie. Original formula is the best. Wait until you try lacio lacio
Silicon is bad for a lot of hair types. It makes your hair look nice and shiny short term.
Long term, It becomes dull and brittle. I’d be careful with that.
I agree!
This is 100% true. You can't even rinse them out. You need about 3 lathers of soap to cut through them. They are like wax. The adhear with a vengeance.
Not really. Silicones don't hurt hair, they just coat it... which is the definition of conditioning. People go wrong by letting the silicones do all the work and not using the right leave in and hair oil, etc.
Kinky curls and coils benefit from some silicones. There are good and bad silicones you just have to find out which are water soluble. I don't think a silicone hair mask would cause problems, however I wouldn't use a silicone shampoo nor would I use any leave in loaded with silicones.
It only makes it dry if you don't wash with clarifying shampoo
I will have to try this product...Maybe I'll use it as a detangler...Thanks for sharing this product...💕💕💕💕💕💕
I’ve been using silicone products for years and it’s amazing!!
Omg you have the most BEAUTIFUL hair!😍😍😍
Everything work on that beautiful healthy hair girl stop!🙈❤❤🤗
I use the Bambu all the time. Now that you showed the Moroccan I want to try it, I haven't seen it in the stores. Thanks for sharing!
I have been using the Bambu for years..In conjunction with my steamer..my hair.loves it!!!
When I was relaxed I used to use Lacio Lacio when I would blow dry
I LOVE your channel!!!
Whew I love your hair ❤
Wow your hair is amazing!
Looks great I gotta buy some this week
You are the 1st natural hair youtuber that my hair actually looks like! It's been so frustrating and made me feel like my natural hair could not cooperate!
You got this!
Yes, I believe that, 110%❣️🎉
Yes exactly what I need this conditioner delivers
I can see from the video that your hair feels very soft and shiny
Just ordered I can't wait to try it out
It's arriving today. Yayyy
I’ve been using that conditioner since 2009/10 & have never went back, it’s awesome and the amount you get for the price is way better than what I could find in the store. I just twisted my hair to start locs but that silicon mix is the truth!
Very beautiful hair and very uplifting video 😊❤️
I’ve tried it I love it it leaves my hair nice and moisturized
You. Are Blessed you enjoy your wonderful hair. X
I've tried this hair conditioner treatment before on my hair and my wigs worked well on both and my natural curls were pop lockin n n droppin lol it made my hair really soft
Girl you just put me on !!!
i love YOUR hair!! I was trying to get the name and everything of the product real fast because u flashed it a few times, and while using the product the name was covered and out of view. in amy case i'm glad you liked the product

ok just ordered it can't wait to see how it works out
I’m going to try this product heard of it but haven’t seen it in the beauty supply….time for a hunt 🥰🥰🥰🥰thanks Razor
Me too
Go to a beauty supply that has a high Latino population within a predominantly black area that you can think of. The city that I am in always has this in stock.
Thanks 4 sharing Pretty Princess!!!
I used to use this when I straightened my hair often.
Your hair is so beautiful 😍
I love it for my hair. I’ve been using it for years. And it really made my hair grow. I always take a break from it though.
B.E.A.UTIFUL. LOVE YOUR POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
I use to use silicon mix.. It smells amazing and it was very good moisturizing conditioner.
Spreading Love and Smiles to Ya Channel ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Appreciate that ❤️
Hey girl, I am Dominican an Silicone used to be one of my favorite product because work so good in my hair, I still love it but now there's a lot of products that I like... there's another one named Emergencia that wor so good...
One of my best friends loves Emergencia! I am a crece pelo girl.
@@blackglitter969 crece pelo ufff 🥰
Wow your hair is long and lovely girl, I have heard about that silicon mix and the vatika oil for years after I joined the Longhaircareforum years ago, and never got around of purchasing, but I sure will now even though I have a cabinet full of products with my product junkie self 😆😂
Girl your hair is beautiful
I layer a little of the protein de perla mask over top of a moisturizing conditioner when I silk press.
Thanks for trying it out. Now I have the courage to try the one I got from my moms friend who happens to be Hispanic🤔😁(it is the argan one too)
This is so funny to me because my Mexican coworker would use cantu products on her hair and loved it.
Oh yes Silicon mix is great for natural hair. Some people even use it to give life back to curly weave hair. I stopped going to the Dominican salon years ago but still use some of the products they use.
My hair loves the Bamboo one but I haven't seen the Argan one. I need to look for that one. You should also try Crece Pelo(Grow Hair) it comes in a plastic green jar. That one is my current favorite.
Get mine from Amazon and I do love it. I stopped using it but had 2 containers around and decided to use what I paid for, I do always use heat and put Aztec clay in it as well
I love my Aztec clay as well, I'm going to detox my scalp since I haven't done so in several months.
@@shanequaaustin8908 I’m glad you like it too and your scalp is about to be so happy 🥰
Natural mermaid: I too use Aztec clay with apple cider vinegar before I shampoo. I also use as a face mask too.
What was the product you put the Aztec clay in?
@@malissawhite4569 I need to do the face mask more often, don’t you love it 🥰
I put the clay in my deep conditioner with aloe vera juice and my curls love it wash day after wash day
@@naturalmermaid5120 hi, if you don’t mind.. how much Aztec clay do you put in your deep conditioner and what DC do you use??
I believe it, think the products are interchangeable depending on the hair texture
I swear by silicon mix I have started locs but I still use it on my daughter. It's amazing
Now I gotta go find this one. I've only tried the original Silicon Mix 🤯
Love there products 💞
I use to use the silicon mix shampoo and deep conditioner but my hair got used to it very quick as to where I couldnt notice anything so I stopped.
If you use a clarifying shampoo, you can wash the silicone from your hair
I used the original that cost me 30.00 US but i got to go find this one cause your hair looks amazing..
You are GORGEOUS🧡💜🧡😘
This works ! I need to get more
Yes spill the tea😁😁
Question, did you see flacks after awhile? Like dandruff at the scalp? I tried the first one and the bamboo one? I’m curious. Cause that’s what happened when I tried it
As a Dominican with 4A/4B hair, I use Silicone Mix ONLY when doing wash n' go, or heatless stretching. It is not good to press hair after using silicone, for the reasons many have mentioned below me. We tend to use them sometimes with heat, but even then we go for the rollers, and not the straight blower or flatiron. Many salons do not care.
PS: anything with silicone is amazing when at the beach, because it prevents our hair from looking like sea moss, y'all know what I'm talking about 😭 Keep it your beach baggies. Use responsibly. Edit: make sure to wash off body VERY WELL, can clog pores!
You hair is simply Gorgeous. That part!!!
Question
Would that change my curls?
This brand is slept on.
I am mixed and also have very mixed hair 3B/3C hair and when i use products for made for black hair my hair gets too greasy and almost too soft but if i use products formulated for like caucasian hair or straight hair its too stripping and makes my hair feel dry its taken me soo long to finally find a product that works for me. I only get my hair done at dominican salons cuz theyre the only ones can work with my hair well
Your hair looks beautiful! I really think it depends on the hair texture or the individual, I used Silicon Mix years ago on myself and daughter’s hair and I believe it was damaging. Our results were not good.
Same for their skin care products.
