Too hard on yourself. Nice effort, I've made plenty of mistakes and had to go back. I have the same tunnel cover so following in your footsteps... thanks for sharing... hope you guys had a good thanksgiving..
Luckily going back was not too bad in this case! Had a nice quiet Thanksgiving. Weather was great here in South Dakota so that was a big plus. Hope yours was great as well!
Beautiful car and great work! Triumph did away with the carpet clips for the carpet around the trans cover at least on my GT6. Nothing holding the carpet except the dash support and gravity but everything stays in place. Thanks for the videos!
Definitely a better quality selection than Miller! I'd say my interior was at least as difficult as everything else except for paint. Just no clear direction on these old cars. Good job, fellas. Hope you had a great Turkey Day. Keep Charging!!
Yeah for sure...I'd don't think I've ever seen dad drink Miller but that's his go-to saying. Other parts of working on this car are definitely tough, but I think you are right about the interior being just as difficult. It's an art to get this stuff to lay flat and fit right.
@@WegsGarage Thanks for the "Steer", yep, I found them on the Moss site. Keep posting the great videos! Very helpful and inspiring my own 1500 project!

On the learning curve 😉
Had to tinker with the snaps on my trunk carpet and that was a flat piece! You’ll have this adjusted perfect in no time.
Seems like tinkering with these carpet kits is the norm across the board!

We were just having this debate yesterday. With the center support clamped down the snaps really seem unnecessary.

Great video! Thank you for posting! Where did you find the carpet snaps with the thread-in male snap?
They were supplied with the Moss Motors carpet kit. Not sure if you can buy them separately.

Question: Roughly how many sheets of sound deadening material did you use? I need to get some for my TR4.
We purchased a box with 36 square feet total coverage. There were nine sheets in the box, and I think we used around 7 or 8 of them.
@@WegsGarage thanks guys 👍
Easy mistake to recover from, interior will be awesome when completed
At least we maybe got the hang of installing the snaps 🤷♂️
