This song has a great and uplifting message to it. This was Jodeci's comeback song and album after 20 years and they come back stronger, older and wiser. B.O.B. is such an underrated rapper.

I like this, k-ci had one of the best voices I have ever herd, along with dino (r.i.p) & his voice is sounding strong again, one of the most influential r'nb groups of the 90's are back strong

Unbelievable. I've waited years for this day. Anybody saying this doesn't have Jodeci sound don't know Jodeci. It is 2014 so of course it's changed a bit. The breakdown near the end sounds like the interludes from T.S.T.A.T.H But this chorus can be likened to the chorus on Father M.C. "Everything's Gonna be Alright". That song was made before any Jodeci song. Glad to see my boys are back!!!!!!!!!

I heard this song the day it dropped...and I purposely kept silent because I have so much respect for this group...unlike some of you I was around in the 90's and have a very personal stake in this groups success and remember their humble beginnings here in New York and the introduction of Jodeci to the world! So when I say THIS DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A JODECI SONG...IT DOESN'T!!! outside of DeVante's production and even he switched it up some...these vocals DO NOT HAVE THE JODECI SIGNATURE ON THEM...are you deaf??? Kci's singing lead...that's NOT Jodeci backgrounds...AT ALL!!!
And also do your homework...father mc's "everything's gonna be alright"(1992) wasn't their first feature or before a full Jodeci song...you meant "treat them like they want to be treated"(1990) their 2 years apart...."forever my lady" already dropped...and a slew of singles!!!
Pay attention...listen to the background vocals carefully...that's NOT JOJO, K-CI, DALVIN OR DEVANTE(and if there even there at all, THEIR VOCALS ARE TURNED DOWN) singing those vocals..When you KNOW JODECI...you know these things...sounds like pretty ricky...listen to h-town, jodeci and pretty ricky "knockin' ur heels" and the remix those backing vocals are almost identical and that's pretty ricky...there's no way you get outside help from other artist and call it a authentic Jodeci song!
Between Kci's lead and ad-libs and DeVante's production(signature sonic use) they dominate and overpower...you can hear D real low in the backgrounds...either way don't say it sounds like their signature sound when it doesn't...fast forward 19years later...there's nothing wrong with change....let's see where they're going with the album...and go from there!
1980starjustice I stand corrected on the father mc singles. However the vocals are the same on both songs. I certainly hear jojo singing background here. The chorus arrangement has jodeci written all over it. Even if jodeci wasn't singing this song it would still sound like Jodeci's harmony style to me.

That wouldn't be surprising. I remember my crew all got a good laugh out of "Gotta Love". From the sound all the way down to the look. But when FML as a whole began to unfold we, "I" was blown away. So if this album takes a few turns from here, it would be reminiscent of the beginning.

OK listen - i'm a huge Jodeci fan, ever since "Forever My Lady". And i want you guys to win and be on top again, i really do. It's awesome to have you back!
BUT!!!!! People - i really have an issue with the background vocals on this track, because they are NOT Jodeci, at least not entirely. For example, check 1:28 "no we dooooon't" and 1:34 "baby can you understand". That is NOT Jodeci. And i think that could be what's making people feel like it's missing that distinctive Jodeci sound (apart from the new production) - because it's missing THEIR trademark harmonies!
I just don't think we're getting the full Jodeci experience like the fans deserve after such a long hiatus. The harmonies played a huge role in who Jodeci were as a group and why we loved them so much, so i feel slightly unsatisfied and "cheated" and can't just ignore it by saying: "Yeah well, they gave us so many classics in the past, so they get a pass".
Don't get me wrong, this is no hate whatsoever - just pointing out facts, that maybe only trained musician ears will hear and the biased fans may have overheard.
I'm open for your thoughts, guys!

A welcome return for the Bad Boys of r and b. I'm not going to negate this track and compare it to past songs, that would be unfair - how many artist can you say improve after they have peaked? very few.
As a long standing fan of these guys, I want to see them succeed - it takes a bigger person to reach out and support them, than just criticise them. In all honesty, we complain about music being so poor, but when anyone makes a decent track we don't fully get behind it or support it. If we as a collective get behind it, the labels will have to listen.
As a Jodeci track, this is actually very good - it's catchy, has a hook and is memorable lol - you may hate the no, no no's but this will stick in your mind for years to come :) unlike so much of the other songs out there.
I'm still anxious to hear a Timbaland remix, with Magoo and Missy- Jodeci's remixes were some of the best I have heard within the era.
Lower that treble and funk it out old school. That's what hurt Jagged Edge new CD to much treble and lost the funk in R&B. Hope the rest of the CD is good we been waiting on your come back for two decades. Baby boom us again with some love making jams!

Ya i noticed that as well. People are viewing it but maybe it will get more radio play. Those basement days were incredible to say the least.
jay cee I just watched Jodeci's live at the Apollo, they performed what about us and stripped it down, I wish this version had been released. I'm quite surprised they never released a remix CD from their golden era - the Mr Dalvin's - Feenin mix is immense, as is Puffy's - Come and Talk to me remix.

I like Nobody wins because it has a good message in it : You have too know when to hold on to what you got and when to let it go : Somtimes negative space is not so negatuve: If it gets too bad you can call the number on the video and get away to a safer place
