Sik Opening Weekend, What Did we Think of Flamingoland?

Join us on our first ever visit to Flamingo Land, Yorkshire. Where we get a taste for some of the new credits they have to offer as well as a review of the BRAND NEW, 10 inversion Intamin coaster - SIK, answering the question is this a SIK ride or will it leave you feeling sick?
Flamingo Land submitted a planning application for a 10-inversion rollercoaster in June 2019.The ride is repurposed but previously unused, having been held in storage for several years after it was originally ordered by Brazilian theme park Hopi Hari in 2011. It opened to the public on 2 July 2022.
It is an example of a second-generation Multi Inversion Coaster from manufacturers Intamin. Colossus at Thorpe Park is of a similar, but first-generation design. The later generation model features a more aggressively profiled first drop and trains that have lap-bar restraints. Trains also enter the final run of heartline rolls at considerably increased speed in comparison to the first-generation models.
Along with Colossus at Thorpe Park Resort, Sik holds the second-highest number of inversions (10) of any British rollercoaster, behind Alton Towers's Smiler with 14.

Great stuff guys I've never been there either due to the distance it's about 5+ hours for us did you hear the banging on the start of the lift hill..?

That’s a hell of a distance but makes sense as we are 3 hours away and had never visited before. It’s hard to justify the trip for the park sadly but they really have some interesting credits to get. Yeah that banging is abit worrying

I can imagine cause it’s hard going even for us, I need to get there next year to get my last few creds and I know anxious rider wants to get there so maybe we look at a trip. As for hero - Roughest rollercoaster in the uk? Hero POV

I just like my thrills to feel safe and this one absolutely does not! You only have to watch the video of them testing it with water dummies to understand why 😘
