This is definitely the best looking egg we have gotten from NECA. He comes with good looking chest burster and face huggers also. The figure is great and looks just how I would want it to look.
My wife brought this guy home to me, after a morning of grocery shopping at Walmart. What a surprise, love him..

One of the few Alien figures I actually have. It is an absolute work of art, to be sure. It just dawned on me, though, why the facehugger's underbelly looks the way it does. This is Kane's facehugger after it's been dissected by Dallas and Ash in the film. Very, very nice touch.
I do see the resemblance because of the red and pink on it but if you lighten up the scene where it jumps on Kane’s head you can see a little bit of interior and it also looks the same
I really love the Big Chap Alien from the original 1979 Alien movie, the design of it is really iconic and it's a masterpiece of a creature. H.R Giger would be proud of Neca. Not to mention Alien (1979) is my favorite horror movie.

Damn this must be a later release ultimate because it doesn't have the black paint on the front dome. Looks great.
I think they actually released some newer ones with the translucent effect because everyone was pissed when they first released last spring and there was black paint over where it should’ve been clear . I actually just saw it at target and it was actually clear but only one of the three were was.
The egg didn't lock to the base either, it just kinda sat there loosely. I'm a little glad my black dome version broke now 😅
Oh.. I must be the only one looking the older one with the black paint on the front. I prefer it over seeing the eyes. But I havent' seen them in real life to see how exactly it looks. I guess both looks good.
I picked up this piece from a local comic book store several months ago. It's definitely one of my favorite Xenomorph figures, if not my favorite. NECA is the king when it comes to making horror figures and this one is no different. This is exactly what I expect the Xenomorph to look like. He's very accurate to how he appears in the Alien movie. He has a solid sculpt. The paint application is clean. I like the wet sheen that was added to him. The translucent nature of the dome has been executed to perfection. I like the fact that the jaw can open up. Unfortunately, the inner jaw can be difficult to pull out. He's nicely detailed as well. The same is true for the egg, Facehugger and Chestburster, which have a nice wet sheen to them as well. The egg itself is easily the best one that NECA has produced so far. It's nasty and gross as it should be. The Facehugger and Chestburster are equally as nasty and gross as well. I'd definitely love to pick up an Ellen Ripley figure to go along with the Xenomorph. I'd even consider buying an egg 4 pack or 6 pack in order to have a nice diorama display setup. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

I have this figure too, and so far its my favorite figure of the year from, NECA.
Love this guy- IMO the best head sculpt and paint for xenos and also the best paint for the egg, chest burster, and face hugger. Must have for Alien fans-
9:33 complete with the eyes. Me : wait xenomorths don’t have eyes!
I had the first version released in March and the leg snapped 😑, picked up the revised one at Target today and I really dig it. You can actually see the the skull underneath the dome now and the egg locks to the base, minor updates but nice!
Finally got myself one of these. Absolutely love it. First one had two left feet so I had to return it. Honestly thought I had another issue with my 2nd one as the head seemed to wobble a bit but yours appears to be the same. Great review.

Just bought this figure, man, can't wait for it to arrive! I've always loved how, ehem, thick, the Xeno (or rather Big Chap) looked in the first movie, it made it appear more natural, you know? Ironically, Big Chap is the one that has more mechanical details on its body.

Sucks, I’m getting in late on this. I had a chance to get Xenophon big chap (sorry if I messed up the name). But it’s brown. I’m not big in aliens & predator. But I have predator & I would like a classic aliens: Jetblack, shiny smooth head & clear teeth & claws. I found 1 for $32. Xenophobe was $27 new, but I passed because it was brown. I’d have bought it if I collected these. & new Neca figures for 2021 are increasing in price, along every other toy line . Thanks

That is cool it comes with the egg and face hugger.
Mine's gonna ship when my preorder is complete, or at least when Marty McFly is out, Doc is gonna take a while longer I guess. So it's good to have a peak even though there wasn't much consideration of buying. I will display it straight as well probably, as my Kotobukiya Big Chap is already crouchy. I have all three of those plus both Ultimate Xenomorph and that glow in the dark Xenomorph I couldn't pass. And of course the egg carton glow in the dark version. Tbh I do prefer those egg designs though I believe this new version is easier to light up, maybe even with an electric tealight, not sure on measurements by eyeballing from a video. That dome is my favourite as well. I did like that returning in part 3. Aliens though is my favourite movie of the lot and I might one day be able to own an Alien Queen and maybe some other figures to replicate an iconic scene from the movie. Meanwhile, since I've been spending quite some army buildling money on Gremlins, I'm fine with my collection of Xenomorphs. Do you have the Big Chap bust money bank? It's actually rather a bang for the buck. I'm still searching for the slot, though as a bust, especially with that huge transparent dome, it's a decent affordable display piece.

On my big chap The dome of the Xena morph is more foggier in the face huggers interior is blue and not black

You know, I never thought about it this way but you get all of the stages in the life cycle of a xenomorph inside the box. Egg---> face hugger----> chestburster----> Alien. Pretty cool.
@5:18 is all the extra color on the FaceHugger meant to represent the one Ash dissected, or at least inspected?

I got 2 neca figures and this was by far the better one but mine for some reason, has a very foggy dome so i cant see the skull, my predator on the other hand, looks fine but had to replace it 4 times due to broken parts, missing parts, bent to all hell parts, very loose parts, ect

Hey where can I get one of those stands that spin around.
Why does Walmart Canada not carry Neca toys? Zellers did, Toysrus doesn't seem to anymore either and places like ebgames take forever for preorders or don't get them at all. I'm only an hour away from Hamilton and Toronto so their are alot of places to get them but it sucks if you live out in the middle of noware especially in Canada.
Tell me about it, I'm in N.B. and have to order everything online with jacked up delivery charges, my walmart has nothing but WWE ,Star Wars and Marvel stuff. EB is not too bad but have little instore selection besides funko pops and like you said preorders are can be pricey and take forever..

In my Neca 40th Anniversary Ultimate Big Chap I can't see the eyes because is painted in black. Why?

You don't need tweezers or a small tool to get the tongue out - just don't clip your fingernails all the way down. God gave us natural tools for our action figures.

Mine has a really dark dome and unless you shine a really bright light at it you cannot see the eye sockets or nose holes in the skull underneath. I like it but yours is way more transparent than mine.

They fudged the first run. They all had black domes for some reason. I'll probably get another one and swap it out and send it back to NECA. False advertising and all..
I see, well maybe I'll get another one day. I'll keep the one I got, I like the dark dome and it being a manufacturing error gives it a certain uniqueness. Understandable for those that wanted a more accurate representation to be upset and return it though.
@@TheReviewSpot yeah was gonna say the same about mine. I got it from BBTS fairly recently about 2-3 weeks ago at least and the front of the doom is a lot more blacked out then yours.

I would hope so. You're comparing a figure that costs hundreds to one that ranges anywhere from 25$ to 40$ depending on where you purchase. You might as well be comparing gold to stainless steel.
