    Hi, thanks for his look at the new XR, the detail coverage of the TFT was helpful. One point to raise is hat I think the plug under the seat you referenced as the Dynamic Pro socket is actually for the systems di

    Great video Tyler and the menu review was the best on RUclips so far. As you recall, I drove 350 miles from North Dakota to see this bike and to visit with you. Was great to sit on it and assess the weight, balance and seating height. Perhaps on another video you would discuss how to select the proper seat height and how to measure for it.
    I appreciate all the data you've emailed me and I look forward to our future visit and placing my order.
    Well done.

    Very thorough & comprehensive review! Pity I’m in Australia!🤣 But this model has gone onto my short list. I currently ride a S1000R which I love but am looking at the more upright position of this tourer. Cheers from Oz👍🏼

    Compared with Yamaha Tracer 900 GT, which one is better for average users with few years riding experience? Appreciate if you can do a group test (F900XR, Tracer 900 GT and Tiger 900 Pro GT) or give your opinion on that. You could give me a big help for I am seriously to get one of these middleweight sport touring bikes. Please note I don’t do off road riding.

      I tested both, and I would go with the XR.
      Even though I always been a Yamaha fan, the XR won when I tested the Tracer 900 GT vs F 900 XR.

    Does it have a 12v power outlet to charge your phone

      It does have a 12v power port on the left side, near where your lower half of your leg would reside.

    F850 bumped to 895cc. 270° firing interval parallel twin. Should bark nicely with an exhaust upgrade, and certainly sound better than the former F800 bland engines.
    BMW website is claiming 99 hp @ 8500 rpm and 68 ft-lb @ 6500 rpm. 482 pounds curb weight. 4.1 gallon tank, about 56 mpg (claimed).
    KTM will eat BMW's F900R lunch with their Duke 890R coming later this year. 890cc 121 HP and 73 ft-lb claimed, 366 lb dry weight (identical weight to the 765 RS from Triumph).

    105 HP?

    • @moonmotorsports1546
      @moonmotorsports1546  5 лет назад

      There are conflicting stats on HP for the 900 engine. Many reports come in at 105HP, but the monroney or "window sticker" for these bikes in the US show 99 HP.
      I hope this helps!

      @@doubles691 Germany specs are consistently showing 105HP, so I would assume if you purchased a bike locally, it would in fact be 105. Check with your local BMW dealer for confirmation though
