    Keep in mind, Babish said at the beginning of the video that he is NOT a chef because he had never worked worked in a professional kitchen, so he knew he wasn’t gonna do an outstanding job.

    As Andrew has said many times he’s not a chef because there is a massive difference between working in a kitchen and cooking food on the internet. Mad props for him being self aware but also giving the kitchen a shot

    I waisted 6 years of my life cooking and I guess it was worth it for the experience but, I DONT miss the rushes and tight spaces with 3-4 people on a line, the shift before you didn’t do any preping so you’re doing two different peoples jobs. Not fun

    Yeah, this is exactly why I couldn’t work in a kitchen. I’ve tried a Decent restaurant, I’ve tried lees chicken and I worked 2years at a Subway… never working in food again. People are NEVER that chill when you drop food. Period.

      What a garbage take. People take advice from these influencers because they give good advice for home cooks. The majority of their audiences are never going to work in a restaurant. Also as someone who works in a professional kitchen setting the majority of their advice is perfectly sound the difference is applying it over and over again untill you perfect it which tends to happen when you work a minimum 8hrs a day in a kitchen.
