Definitely one of the most interesting and educational maker channels in my watch list (plus great music). Would be interesting to get an insight into how the prototypes would be mass manufactured if they went into production in terms of construction, materials, surface finishes etc., and how to avoid making a mock up that would be un-manufacturable on a larger scale.

Very cool to see the process. Curious to know at what point you tune the CAD for the charger fit based on the pulp material’s flexibility. Clearly you understand your model’s chipboard characteristics, but how does that translate to a more refined measurement for final mold? thanks for your vid’s!

This reminds me of another video where the maker 3D prints a mold, then makes the model by with paper pulp.

Hi, I'm a maker who loves learning new methods and crafting something usable. I'm very interested in getting into the prototyping field as a job. Of course I need to build up my portfolio, but besides that, is there anything else that I could do? My goal is to participate in the design process as well.

Learn how to sketch, it will help you think through your ideas and work them out before you get to prototype them.

Nice tutorial. With the project ocean team and the global goals 2030, We talk a lot about environment. Why still doing business with a country (China) that doesn't care about it ? Why buying stuff made on the other side of the planet and sending our trash back? Keep up the good work

People are used to prices that externalize the cost of ecological damage. It’s genuinely hard to sell products that cost 2x.
