    An injury-hit/ridden decimated squad
    Makeshift team/bench
    Some hardly played a game
    Many youngsters
    Some of whom
Never played a min of football
    Every team has injuries, true
    But they're not Utd
    No correlation
    Not connected
    Completely different
Just something that sounds good to say
    Every team is different
    Different situations/circumstances
    Constant injuries
So much happening all at once
Impossible to build up any rhythm/momentum
Forced in to making so many changes
    Which all doesn't help
It's like some ppl choose to be dumb x
Freak season in terms of injuries
& the timing of injuries/length too
    Crap/soft goal to concede
But proud of the team (with context)
    Considering/factoring in reality 😉
    Nowadays (old&young)
Not many ppl live in the real world 😉
    Sofyan was ace ⭐
    Performance wasn't amazing
    But could see a game-plan
    Structure to the team/plan
    Better shape etc.
    Garna was good
    But rough & unpolished
    & that's okay 🙂
    Raw unfinished article
    Amad the same ⭐
    Mainoo was class ✨
    We missed Bruno 2day 💥
His unpredictability, creativity & magic 🪄
Also big up 2 Manchester United W.F.C. ♥️

@dadajulius6489 this was a typical garancho performance. Wrong decisions time and time again, he's literally young rashford with less physical gifts but the same poor decision making with even less goal threat. These "good games" you type of fans praise are literally 5/10 performances.

Rather than finding blames within, it was the most sensible "approach" taken by Arteta. He clearly has learnt from last season. Our "comfort zone" is attacking space but it isn't to break down teams, certainly with this squad with 12-13 injured and against the best defensive team. Some people might say that Arteta outclassed Ten Hag or Arsenal "didn't come out of 2nd gear", that's not true.
United started Amrabat and Mainoo in middle, both "retention" players. Also, you could clearly see the tactical shift from Ten Hag - dropping Amrabat in a back 3 to outnumber Arsenal's pressing front 2. The setup of Ten Hag was pretty good but again, if you have to break a mid/low block, you need quality from the wings. Arsenal actually were okay with Garnacho but only to "cross the ball" because Saliba and Gabriel are good box defenders. Garnacho's crossing and decision making was poor at times but when he did beat White on 2-3 times, he missed the wonderful shooting opportunities also, albeit from far.
Ten Hag isn't clueless, he isn't an idiot. He deserves criticism but the problem is we find scapegoats and absolutely "discredit" what he did last season and why he was brought in for a process in the first place.
If Arsenal had our injury record, their lineup wouldn't have Saliba (Martinez), Gabriel (Varane), Tomiyasu (Maguire), Kiwior (Lindelof), Zinchenko (Shaw), Timber (Malacia), Partey/Jorginho (Mount), Trossard/Martinelli (Rashford), Odegaard (Bruno). And btw, Arsenal "derailed" last season because "1 CB", Saliba got injured.

Most of the people shitting on managers act as if managers have no training or experience or expertise, most professional managers are well versed with tactical know how, especially the like that manage top division across Europe, all of them are tactically well versed, it's often a lack of options in squad or how players switch off that hurts teams, or when they have a massive chunk of the main squad out injured.

With hindsight, Ten Hag not giving Amrabat a proper chance at DM looks like a big mistake.
Our central midfield is wide open when either Eriksen, Casemiro or Mctominay has played there, but today Amrabat shielded the middle far better than any of them.
Did Ten Hag's trademark stubbornness cost us? Did this rigidity prevent him from starting Amrabat, even when we were regularly conceding 15-20 shots a game?

No idea how we think we were better? Arsenal were never under real pressure. It was similar to those games we used to play under SAF when we'd play a lower half of the table side and we'd be coasting at 1-0 but aware that if needed, we could step it up a gear and get another, only we were the lower half side.

I was really disappointed with Garnacho's productivity today. Got on the ball many times in great areas, but gave away possession countlessly. His end product was either a tame cross into the Raya's gloves or a shot wide of the target. He had the best chance of the game with his wide open look and sent the ball into row Z.
Amrabat looked good in spells, but still looks very janky and uncomfortable while dribbling, and played a few poor passes. Mctominay very negative with the ball as well.
Arsenal sat back and asked us the question which we had no response to today, such a shame as they were there for the taking.

This was mostly the team I've been calling for, for weeks. We've had Amrabat all season and he gives a lot more than McTominay, Casemiro and Erikson in that CM. Yes, his quality is lacking on the ball but united's biggest problem is our of possession. If we had played Erikson in CM today we would have been smashed! Also Erikson should be in the 10 not further back. Wan bissaka looked better at RB too and Dalot was still good at LB. If we can bring a CB or 2 for FA cup and Bruno and keep Kobi and Amrabat in CM we might make a fist of the final.

The ONE thing about this season that ended up as a NOTEWORTHY positive and a blessing in disguise, are all the youngsters getting a chance to play in the Starting XI and coming on as subs. That wouldn't have happened if we had little to no injuries to key players. Great to see we have in-house talent for the future.
Our season ended in January. I'm not in denial about that fact. There was no way playing a Frankensteined team every game was sustainable given the amount of key players injured. We are where we are and that leaky roof today was a symbol of how poorly-run this club has been for over a decade. If I was SJR and INEOS, my focus would be on implementing an immediate plan for a rebuild of infrastructure and human resources.

It is now clear for starters that Antony isn't fit to lace Amad's boots. Amad MUST start from here on in. It was not what you would call our first choice midfield, but they did well. Dalot again was outstanding and had Saka in his pocket. I fully expected to be beaten, couldn't see a win for us so despite the fact we were always in the game at 0-1 down, it was a better performance than I expected.
