    Hello, I got a Varla EO V2.0 as well. Great scooter, especially for the price. Started with gotrax single motor scooters, then upgraded to a Gotrax GX2, which was my first dual motor scooter. Now I have the Varla. There are some complaints I have with it as you mentioned, like the dim braking lights, small buttons, lack of turn signals, and inaccurate battery indicator. However overall I'd say the performance/speed/range is quite good for only $1500. Varla seems to also be a reputable company and I have good experiences with their customer support. I have the free wide deck installed, it makes the ride a lot more comfortble. Scooter seems to have decent quality and features overall.
    Not sure about you, but I did have to do a front brake bleed a few weeks ago, it got mushy after half a year. The built in steering damper also seems to have lost its effectiveness after half a year, and there isn't as much resistance when steering. My odometer also likes to reset itself after every couple months. I hear that is a common problem with this scooter.

      @megar_potato859 : Hey how's it going, as I mentioned on the video, I added the ShredLights SL-R1+ to the rear. After 400 miles, the "internal steering damper" went away, now it's loose. It's an easy fix though. Just replace the O ring that's on the stem by the Knob. What I've been having (few rider's as well) lately is wobbles when going past 30mph. Varla is currently testing a bracket they created to add a steering damper. The reset on the Odometer, the Pro and V2 have that issue (since they share same display type). You can contact Varla Customer Support and let them know about your display resetting. They'll send you a new one. On some it fixed the issue, others still resets (at different miles). I replaced mibe on the Pro and so far I have over 2k miles and no reset, yet lol.
      The range is great, sometimes I go with my kids riding around the neighborhood. I'm doing about 12-15mph and we end up doing 6-8 miles. I get home and still reads 100% battery on the display and voltage reads 58v. I don't charge it and the next day I'm thinking it probably going to show less than 100% and to my surprise, still at 100% 😃
      The brakes, they're still working good. No need to bleed them yet.
      I'll start doing videos again soon. I haven't been able to ride due to some physical issues but can't wait to start riding again.

      @@JGM519 Thanks for the quick response. I am definitely planning on adding both aftermarket rear lights as well as a handlebar mounted front light as well sometime soon, as I do some night riding.
      When my internal damper effect went away initially, I was surprised to suddenly get speed wobbles for the first time (only when going above 40mph on downhills). I have since improved my stance and loosened up my arms when going fast, which seems to have stopped the speed wobble issue. So I probably won't bother replacing the rubber damper.
      Thanks for letting me know they send replacement displays, I might try contacting them to see if it fixes the reset issue. Doesn't affect riding, but it is annoying. I have to keep my mileage written down on a paper hahaha.
      The range is pretty damn good. I ride hard at top speeds, so I get 20 miles out of a full battery. However, I find that the displayed % is very inaccurate so I keep track of my battery by using how many miles I've gone that trip lol.
      Hey sorry to hear that but have fun riding again soon man. I'm riding as much as I can before winter hits haha

      @megar_potato859 No worries, if you ever have any questions feel free to ask. It's funny that you mention writing the mileage on a piece of paper, I do that too just in case next time I power it on and it says 0 😆
      I rely more on the voltage than the battery display. So when it reads 47.0v you're at 30% battery left, 46.2v you're at 25% left. Never drain the battery completely. You'll end up damaging the battery permanently.

    Hello. New sub here . I had varla Pegasus . Put 4600 miles on that scooter. Varla is a good scooter company. I was going to get the v2 but I went with Ausom Gallop scooter. It's a beast. Keep them coming. 👍

      @JGM519  6 месяцев назад

      @chrisdudley8366 That scooter reminds me of the Mukuta 10 and the Vsett 10. Yours (Gallop) definitely has bigger motor and battery than the V2. 0. Same top speed though. Have you done a range test?

      Hello. I have not received it yet will be at my door wensday. I am hopeful it will get at lease 25 miles in range. It has 23.2 battery. So we will see.

    I have 300 miles on this scooter. Love it-I think it will last many years, very solid. However the suspension is bad where even small potholes are painful. Off road is fun but must be smooth hardpack. I’ve adjusted the suspension but still very harsh. Otherwise love this ride for doing errands, passing all the traffic, parking right at the store’s entrance. Micro mobility devices will replace cars shortly.

    Interesting you don’t like the switch, I swapped my switch on my pro to the one from the v2 haha

    • @JGM519
      @JGM519  8 месяцев назад

      I like how it looks but I'm constantly changing gear from 2 to 3 and vice-versa. The bad part (for me) that is between the power and light button. I keep hitting the lights because of the thickness of the gloves. The switch on the Pro I'm able to change gears quick without needing to look down.

    • @terpypanda7105
      @terpypanda7105 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@JGM519 ah okay. That makes sense. Since the pro only has 3 gears, I leave it in 3. With the throttle I put on even in gear 3 I can maintain 8mph if I want to so changing is a non issue. Same with the lights, I ride at night a lot so they are either on or off. My gloves snagged on the plus button for my pro and broke it off, so the v2 switch is a much better fit for me.

    • @JGM519
      @JGM519  8 месяцев назад +1

      I know what you mean, it has happened to me as well. What I did, moved the horn button closer to my thumb. Now when I need to hit the gear button, the gloves don't get to cover the button and just have enough room to press it with tip of the thumb. Since, no issues. Most of my riding is a night too. I have everything maxed out. When stopped at a light, I have it on gear 2 to get a faster acceleration and once reaching 20mph I change it to gear 3. Having it on gear 3 from a halt, to me the take off is a little slower.

    MY SCOOTER MAKES A TERRIBLE SOUND WHEN I HIT THE BRAKES???? IT'S THE SAME HYDRAULIC BRAKES YOU HAVE. WHAT COULD IT BE?? HOW DO YOU FIX IT? MINES HAS ONLY 20 MILES ON IT, I BOUGHT IT LIKE 2 WEEKS AGO.

      Do you still have the issue? Sounds like the rotors are rubbing, just align them.
