    Great episode guys - the national park looked like riding through a lunar landscape. The thing I love most about adventure riding is the freedom to do as you please - feeling hot, see lake, go for swim, ride again…perfect! Mike ❤️

    Great videos & narration. Keep it up. You 2 are living the dreams of many. Those gravel/dirt roads are terrific. Nice you went swimming in a lake. I didn’t do that. Buen viaje.

    Great stuff. I went to school in chile for a bit then back surfing in the early 90s. Now i want to return and ride my bike around the place. Great inspiration . Thanks!!

    Enjoying the series guys👍. Are those Mosko soft panniers 40 litres each side? I’m considering getting some rather than hard luggage.

      Thank you! The Honda CRF300 Rally has the reckless 80L luggage system and the Yamaha Tenere 700 has the 35L back country soft panniers. We're really happy with our luggage set up. Highly recommend!

    Just a tip for the deep sand or volcanic dust in this case, do NOT feather the clutch. Also starting in second will help get the wheel speed up which helps move you in sand. When starting out, get the RPMs up more than you would normally and drop the clutch. Unlike in mud you want the tire to spin. Once the bike starts moving get up on the pegs and use them to steer not the bars.

      I definitely need more practice on soft ground! Some really good tips here, thank you! 😊 😊

    I considered taking a canvas Australian swag to withstand the winds for my upcoming trip in Dec-Jan. But it’s also pretty bulky, and I usually try to avoid checking baggage. How did your tent fare?

    • @tworidewild
      @tworidewild  Месяц назад

      Our tent is great to travel with! It's a hiking tent so it's lightweight... perfect for this type of trip. It's a 3 person tent to ensure we have enough space for gear and equipment. Our recommendation is to cut back on space and weight as much as possible when travelling by motorcycle. Especially camping equipment which may not necessarily get used all the time.

      @ thanks for taking the time to respond! I used my Kelty backpacking tent for my motorcycle trips through Spain and Turkey, but when I heard about those Argentinian winds, I was worried it might not hold up. But I agree, I just hate piling on weight, especially when looking to do off-road. Enjoy and safe travels!
