I love that she corrected the interviewer by saying she writes songs. She only took a step back with songwriting once and that was for Discipline but this was ~1999. Since her breakthrough, she remained, and still is, very involved in the curating of her music. And I love her speaking about her musical influences. People need to stop playing about her musical knowledge. She knows her shit.!
