I loved this video so much, I love all of your guys videos but this one is definitely one of my favorites mainly because of the one that Lindsay told about the guy who went to the Wiccan festival who got one of his past lives read. It sounds like this thing I have heard about before called a twin flame it’s where two souls were once one and then separated to then find eachother in each life time to learn a certain lesson and then be separated again to find one another again, it’s like a cycle of karmic lessons. That’s why when he said it soon turned toxic and he decided to separate from her and she said she remembered him it instantly reminded me of the stories of twin flames. There are actually several crybaby bridges across the country-you should do a story about them. There’re actually two in Texas :) I’m in San Antonio and one in East Texas. They all involve woman and baby die on bridge-drowning? Car accident? And if you go at a certain time of night/month you can hear a baby crying.

I grew up in Bpt. Ct went to high school in the late 70’s (Bullard -Havens) when I heard about the Mellon heads. Not being that adventurous then I never checked it out. Very pleased there was a story about them. Also there’s an old asylum Fairfield Hills that’s been closed. I’ve heard stories of strange going on there. Not to hard to believe with all the negative energy these places must have accumulated. (Had a loved one there I visited every night the visiting room was the third ring of hell.) It’s currently listed on the 20 most haunted sites in Ct. Great job Dan very scary. Loved the story about the guy meeting his love in another life Lynze. Thats why the podcast is so popular and growing. Here’s to another year of quality entertainment. You guys should check out Dark Entry in Cromwell Ct. scary stuff.
born and raised in salem oregon, can confirm how creepy that place is. we used to drive by it at night often and i would get chills like something was following our car after we passed by it. its not an okay place, we have been driving a block away from it, even though we have to go a little out of our way, just because even my dad, girlfriend and everyone has been way to creeped out by that place.

Talking about ppl seeing the same thing. My grandma passed & then my dog passed two months after. For three days following his death I could hear sounds that he used to make. like when he was trying to get comfy. At the time my sister had moved in with her fam into my grandma's home. My sis slept in my grandma's room at the the very opposite end of the house. After three nights of hearing these noises she came to me & asked if I heard anything. I asked y and she said she had been hearing my grandma's voice coming from her bedroom. We believe she came back to help my little eli cross the veil. I haven't heard him since then.

The 3,600 urns in the "Room of Souls" might seem shocking but stop to think about this - crematories in institutional settings are not designed to cremate one body at a time. They would often do five to eight bodies at a time depending on the size / age of the person and the backlog. The same practice exists today; if you think you are getting back the ashes of your beloved great aunt in a beautiful urn in almost all cases you are getting the remains of others with her. You can pay extra for a single body cremation but even then, less than honorable contracted crematories will burn more than one at a time to make a very 'quick' profit. Love catching up on your older shows!
Anyone else see holes in the timeline of Lindsey’s first story? Fresh out of high school, thought about it through teenage years, in he’s 30’s, OVER 20 years ago. So the story started at 18 most likely. Odd to refer to ages 18 & 19 as “teenage years.” So 20 years later would put him at 38 or 39. So over 20 years would put him in his ‘40’s. Could pan out but sounds very suspicious to me.
Im literally so fucking happy that you guys did a melon head story. I'm from CT and I grew up learning about this folklore. Its one of my absolute favorites along with slender man and Jeff the killer 🥰❤
@@kitkatie0 Right!? Ugh people, get over yourselves. There is still a possibility people's stories will be read in the future! I am sure there are so many coming in they don't even know what to do with them for satans sake!
Hey guys, My name is Zach and I'm from perry County Ohio. I now live in Texas, but I know the legend of Cry Baby Bridge. So Cry Baby Bridge is a large bridge consisting of three small bridges. The legend goes a mother was mentally ill, and was driving on the bridge with her three kids. She stopped on the middle bridge and threw her two oldest off the bridge. Then she grabbed her baby held it close and jumped off the bridge. The reason why its called cry baby bridge is because, the whole entire time the mother was "killing" her children the baby was crying. Legend has it that when you drive on the bridge around midnight, you will see the mother standing in the middle of the second bridge. Once you spot her she dissappears. Then once you hit the middle of the second bridge, your car dies and it won't start back up. If you get out of the car you can hear the baby crying, and there will be small children hand prints all over your car. But once you get back in your car and start it, it'll start right back up. The only threat when it comes to this bridge is when you over look the edge of the bridge. You'll see the mother holding her baby in the water while both of them are crying. If you say anything to the mother, no matter if its a comment, statement, or a question. She will look up at you with a look full of hate. Then she will disappear and as you turn around to look at your car, she will be standing next to your car screaming. There is a small chance of her hurting you but its still possible. I've always wanted to go back home to visit that bridge but no one back home wants to go with me. Hope this is helpful for you two and I love the podcast and time suck. Keep up the great work!
Melon Head = Rubber Johnny, another missed opportunity to have a gif that could scare the living daylight out of Lindsey and some viewers. C'mon Dan! First you missed Dead by Daylight wendigo and now this? Waiting for a real good spoopie picture again.
I'm from ohio and my dad has been to cry baby bridge and the legend says that if you stand on the bridge at night you can hear the sounds of babies crying
Cry Baby bridge was from Johnstown, Ohio supposed to be a Young Mom who didnt want her child threw it off the bridge and people started saying that they could here the child crying at night
About the first story: I am a caregiver here in Salem, Oregon. I have supported people who were held at the state hospital (Salem and the now closed Portland). I have also supported people who were at the now closed Fairview Training Center (where other similar horrors happened to the Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled community). I know some who was victim to a forced sterilization. I know people who currently work at the state hospital. I know people who worked at Fairview. Both places are without a shadow of doubt HAUNTED. Salem is rife with tortured ghosts. You feel it along Pringle rd (where I work), all around downtown, Fairview Industrial rd, Kuebler Blvd, Reed and Strong rd. Its heavy, malicious but justified, and heartbreaking. I am glad we have came a long way, but we still have work to do. Trauma Informed and Person Centered care are relatively new concepts. Please, the biggest thing you can do even if you're not a caregiver is to respect these people. Respect is powerful.
Been listening to scared to death while I go to sleep for a few days now and I had the most scary ass nightmare last night. Ugh that shit was fucked up. First I was stuck in this cement room thing on the beach and it was filling with water and I had to climb out then this vampire monster chick was chasing me and a few people and she bit my arm hella bad and I had to bite her neck to try to kill her. God it was horrible. Doesn’t sound so bad but it was scary as hell.
I'm so happy I found you guys. I just happened upon you. I love this so much. Better than the true crime stuff that I've been listening to. That puts me into a bad mood. I'm going to unsubscribe from all the true crime and just listen to your podcast here. Paranormal stuff is more interesting anyhow.

So the story started at 18 most likely. Odd to refer to ages 18 & 19 as “teenage years.” So 20 years later would put him at 38 or 39. So over 20 years would put him in his ‘40’s. Could pan out but sounds very suspicious to me.
Eigh-TEEN, nine-TEEN
Yup. Incredibly weird to refer to those ages as TEENage years.
Oh who gives a fuck listen and enjoy or fuck off. blah blah blah.
I'm from Holland, Mi never heard of the melon heads untill watching this
So sad that his comedy has been stopped but i support the decision, idk if you had west virginia in your sights but you should come down
Im literally so fucking happy that you guys did a melon head story. I'm from CT and I grew up learning about this folklore. Its one of my absolute favorites along with slender man and Jeff the killer 🥰❤
Side note: I can"t believe how butthurt people get about their stories not being read!
It's gonna get worse now too since they made a book out of people's stories so now everyone is gonna wanna get picked for their five minutes of fame.
@@kitkatie0 Right!? Ugh people, get over yourselves. There is still a possibility people's stories will be read in the future! I am sure there are so many coming in they don't even know what to do with them for satans sake!
Can we get some STD fuzzy socks? I’d love to get some before the fall hits 😁
SECOND THIS! I'm one of those psychopaths that wear fuzzy socks to bed.
Ahhhh it's a demon dog! But he so precious like a watermelon puppy!
That moment when Eugenics is a uniquely American invention.
The melon head story sounds a lot like the basis for the plot of Wrong Turn 2.

Thanks. Im lying in bed in the dark and now I can’t sleep.
Dude the melonheads story sounds fucking terrifying. Kind of like the xfiles episode “home” or the point look out dlc from the game fallout 3
The story of the melon heads remind me of the movie The Hills Have Eyes.
Melon Head = Rubber Johnny, another missed opportunity to have a gif that could scare the living daylight out of Lindsey and some viewers. C'mon Dan! First you missed Dead by Daylight wendigo and now this? Waiting for a real good spoopie picture again.
Rubber Johnny is an Aphex twin video, right? But I totally agree-Very unsettling
I'm from ohio and my dad has been to cry baby bridge and the legend says that if you stand on the bridge at night you can hear the sounds of babies crying
Also in movie theaters
Two weeks ago I was number 9 de like it last week number 5 this week number four a don't think I'll beat that
Cry Baby bridge was from Johnstown, Ohio supposed to be a Young Mom who didnt want her child threw it off the bridge and people started saying that they could here the child crying at night
Hope that helps you guys if you werent able to find the reference online :). Love the show guys. Stay creepy Dan and stay peepy Lindsey
There's also a Crybaby Bridge in Anderson, SC. Interesting.
About the first story:
I am a caregiver here in Salem, Oregon.
Dan should show her some Trevor Henderson pictures
Have you done Goat man bridge?
Melon-collie (melancholy).
Ever notice ghosts never do weird kinky things to people?. Just figured I would bring it up
man, those first two stories really do show how disgusting humans treat each other. i hate it here.
Trust the science!
Dr. Icepick McBrainstabber in the first story.
🙏
"Officially" The Eugenics program in the US ended in the 1990's...officially. But according to new developments, it's back up gain....
Car windows don't make jagged shards, they break into little squares.
True.
I wish the 2023 episodes featured stories like the first one, told in a way to be frightening. Please get back to this type of storytelling!
Math hurts
