    I use two small racing floor jacks on either side to lift. I keep one of them in the trunk for flats.

    • @ChaosCarClub
      @ChaosCarClub  8 месяцев назад

      Not a bad idea! Any particular type of tie down to keep the jack from sliding around?

    • @31terikennedy
      @31terikennedy 8 месяцев назад

      I have a small rug over the spare and the jack sits down into it and against the bulkhead. You could use a ratchet strap around the bottom of spare to really secure. I have a Gen 2.@@ChaosCarClub

      I installed a ground kill switch in the trunk above the battery in my Gen 2 R/T10 because it's seasonal. My Challenger R/T is also seasonal but the battery has to be accessed to be disconnected.

      @@31terikennedy I keep everything on battery tenders. Set it and forget it 🙂 don’t have to worry about resetting radio dials or anything that way too

      It's simpler to disconnect and the car should be started once a month.@@ChaosCarClub

    I have to get a single rear wheel repaired. Can I leave one corner of the car on a jack stand for a couple days??

    • @ChaosCarClub
      @ChaosCarClub  3 месяца назад +1

      Few days isn’t a biggie. Definitely wouldn’t want to store it like that or anything but I’ve had one corner jacked up for a long weekend and didn’t think twice about it.
