- If you don't have a trailer, using a hitch-mounted carrier is another option to get your motorcycle or dirt bike to wherever it needs to go.
Dr. Speed Lemon shows you how to attach the carrier and secure the motorcycle with tie-downs

Make sure that to check the max weight of the carrier before you buy one.
The Black Widow carrier is used in this video - Авто/Мото
This was a perfect video! I'm new to the bike world and didn't even know there was a bike hitch carrier until I purchased my bike, then didn't know how to use it! I'm ready to load up now, lol
You are an absolute unit to be able to lift it like that, I have the same one and needed assistance hahaha
Thanks 🙏🏼
Literally perfect video start to finish. Doesn’t beat around the bush and shows exactly how and close up. Bravo
Those screeches sound like movie effects! Helpful video
😂 I tried to edit those parts down !
Awesome video, I have the same carrier and now I know I can load it up myself! Thank you.
Thank you! My life just got a lot easier. Appreciate the links!
Isn't the stabilizer on the stinger/hitch supposed to be mounted from the bottom, not the top?
Thank you!
best video ever
Thanks 🙏🏼
I got one of those black widows but I had to raise mine up
Very helpful video! I'm wondering what your highlander's tongue weight rating is? I bought an Outback Wilderness for carrying my V2 to race tracks, our bikes weigh similar, but my car's tongue weight is rated for 350 lbs (1/10 of its towing capacity) which I'm concerned about. Will the hitch come off if I load my bike up there? If it's just sag issues I guess it's fine my car comes with lifted suspension
Bro is moving like a sloth. I hope he doesn't ride like that 😂
What's the ground clearance? Does the hitch rub on the pavement?
Did u add any suspension rear support?
My back is already injured so I’m good 😂 I’ll say I had this hitch hauler off brand looked exactly the same and without the stabilizer it tilted while making a long sweeping turn at about 30mph with my ktm 350 (236lbs) and the front wheel catch caught the front wheel (good) and it bent the whole flat metal platform and came off! Total junk. Aluminum rage cage ones with ladder platform that doesn’t allow momentum of wheels way better and lighter
Definitely need to buy a good one and a stabilizer to help!
Are there any laws about obscuring your tail lights?
If the tongue weight on the car is 100-150, what is a 400lb bike going to do to that?
No issues with drag? I’m thinking about getting a highlander is yours stock? Good to see it looks like it handles it well without much squatting
I’ve sold it and have a Tacoma now. It was a good car and hauled that R6 with only a little squat
Hi! Thank you, very useful. Does every car have a hitch to secure such a rack? I have a Toyota Yaris Cross, for instance. Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately not, Carmen. However, they’re relatively inexpensive and easy enough to install yourself. If you’re not a DIY’er, or if you’re disabled like me, you can have one installed for around $150.00. At least that’s how much I paid and I got everything included. The assembly, wiring and ball ran around $400.00.
Thank you!
Did you follow the speed limit of 55Miles per hour as recommended or can you go faster. going on round trip of over 300miles and speed limit is 80 here on i10. 55 Miles an hour would almost double the trip
I try to keep up with the flow of traffic, but when the roads are wavy or just bad, I definitely slow down.
Technically, you're not towing, you're hauling, and the lower speed limit does not apply to you with a hitch mounted carrier. Same as if you loaded the bike in the bed. Follow the 'normal' speed limit and you're good to go from a traffic law perspective.
Have you had any issues with the cops not being able to see your back license plate?
No, but I wouldn’t want to be riding dirty in the wrong town with this on😂
Have you ever had any issues with either your license plate or tail lights not being visible? I'm about to take my first ride with it 200 miles in a few hours.... I'm absolutely terrified, this ride is going to be so stressful. How was your first ride carrying your bike? I have the same exact carrier as you do.
I have a similar setup and driven hundreds of miles across multiple states.
Honestly I've driven through toll roads and taken advantage of my blocked plate and no one's come to chase me down. I've also never been pulled over.
can you open the trunk with it on?
No, not when the Motorcycle is mounted on it.

What is the weight or you bike please .?
Under 400lbs. Not sure exactly
Idk but there's no way that Highlanders tongue weight is more than 500lbs. That bike is 400-500lbs plus that 100lb hitch.
The bike is probably around 400lbs at the moment
There's no way the tongue weight rating on that is high enough for that bike.
This is not good turning signal won’t be visible
That's not called a tow strap, tow strap is what you use when you actually towing a car behind another car
Thanks for making the world a little less ignorant
That hitch stabilizer is upside down lol. Don’t do what this guy did
Why is that?
Awesome video, I have the same carrier and now I know I can load it up myself! Thank you.
