My #1 bass since 2018 is a Made-In-Indonesia Sterling Ray5. Best $330 (with tax) I've ever spent on an instrument - 100% reliable, plays itself, makes my job easy, provides precisely the right tone for my band. It made me a better player, actually, because it helped me lighten my touch. But on the review - I played one of these Cutlasses in store and couldn't believe how nice it felt - I just wanted to play and play. Excellent review, guys!
I bought a Sterling Stingray SS-4 Bass and I was so Impressed with the fit, finish, sound & playability. (great value for the money) I always enjoy your content fella's.
@@PJandtheBeard I bought it, to keep busy (while staying-in) throughout the pandemic in NYC. I'm a guitar-player, but I was able to learn lots of Motown, Classic Rock and some killer Reggae. (also) Purchased a Fender Rumble 100 Amp and now I can do gigs as a Bassist.
@@michael_caz_nyc if nothing else the pandemic thought is we can learn new skills if given some extra time! In some ways I miss being forced to stay at home.
