We tend to look back at the past through the eyes of the naive kids we were at the time, and as a result we only get a picture of what a fraction of the world was like. Because a fraction of the world is all we knew back then coz we were kids. The 80s had a lot of really horrible stuff going on too. AIDS, mass unemployment, threat of nuclear war. People were much nastier and more intolerant than they are now. So, yeah. Every era has its ups and downs. But everybody, from every generation, always imagines the time they were kids was best.
And you ain’t lying. Growing up as a kid in the 80’s EPIC!! I was about 7 when this came out & swore I was a baby Madonna. LOL 😂 loved it then & love it now! My mom got me all those different color jelly bracelets!
