This is really great! I wish I had this kind of class at my university at my student days.

Thanks for the great video. I cast a statue at home, but it had imperfections. I wonder if you know what would cause lacey/swiss cheese like holes near where a sprue attached to the sculpture?

    So many questions...
But I'll start with one. PPE.
During the post knock out, parting with a hand grinder, the gentleman had on a face mask of sorts. It looked nothing more than a piece if filter material wrapped over his mouth. But it did look effective.
What was that and where can it be gotten?

this is something to be learned in a University, a trade that has been in the minds of people sense the dawn of the BRONZE AGE. Why do we need a college to teach us how to cast bronze a trait the has been a trade of mankind for 6,000 years?

Once bronze had lost its military usefulness, nobody cared. Said the Baron, sitting in his hall: "Iron. Cold iron is master of them all.".

I dunno if it your getting paid to do what you do, a good and loving wife, or what combination of factors that causes it to be.... but, your vigor in expression of your love of your industry seems as strong as an 18 year old's; when he actually knows what he is looking, at and how beautiful... hope that never changes... thanks much.

Well, the process of using a ceramic shell is not very ancient, invented by the British during the Second World War.

Why aren't any of those Artistes learning to cast Bronze Cannon? Probably some dumb BATF rule against that.

peter shifrin, you talk too much. blah blah blah. and talk so much that you forget to describe the necessary steps that go into making a lost wax bronze thing
