Hey Brad I had a 73 satellites! sebring that had a totally worked 318 punched out 30 over cammed headers. Bought it in 1978 awesome car. Wished I kept it now!!👍❤️🥴
That's a solid car right there, those floors are pristine and the front bumper looks good n straight! With a parts car too, another nice find Brad. Like you said, 8 3/4 posi rear and let er rip! That first cleanup with trash removal, vacuum and wash is one of the best parts of a rescue!
When I first saw the satellite I figured what a pile of junk, but once you got the interior pulled out that car is actually solid 👍 I'm going to look at your next video on this car and see how she's coming along. Keep up the good work Brad 👍☮️
I thought these were horrible when I was a youngin. Fast forward a few decades & I'd love to have one now. Somehow birthdays change your feelings. Or, I'm just getting old!
Yeah, blows my mind how that cowl and trunk lip aren't completely rotten being southeast cars! That pine straw turns acidic as it decomposes, it'll ruin a car out here quick! You really lucked out on this one, cause the guy you bought it from at least had the presence of mind to pull the carpet out of it before here parked it all those years! Gave you a good solid base to work with! Can't wait to see the progress!🙂 Keep rockin' bro!👏💯👍
My parents had a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Dark Blue Metallic with a partial white vinyl rear roof. Same bench seat and interior you have and shifter on the column. It was the fastest frickin car I ever rode in as a teenager. Dad could punch it at 70 miles an hour and chirp the tires. He did it multiple times. It had a 383 Magnum with an automatic. My dad was a hell of a mechanic. HIghest I ever saw him drive it was around 130 mph.
I was from Fayetteville, NC and my first car , in 1976, was a '72 Satellite Sebring. It was sky blue with a white top. I have no clue when and who my dad sold it to.

THat tuck nose look is one of the absolute top things Chryslter ever did just look wise... not sure about the rear end look but... which year had the cool rear to match that front end look... from the side... just cool as they come. If I restomoded one... I'd put the look of a 68 charger for the arse end but otherwise... fantastic cars.
there could be a second build sheet hidden in the car .. if it has a cardboard glove box liner . remove the glove box liner and it would be taped to the top . sometimes if it has bucket seats , inside the back - springs of the front passenger seat
I had one of these cars .. in86 .. bought it for 50 dollars .. put the 440 back together in it but that fell apart soon so .. I stick a slant six in it and sold it for 200

I just bought my buddy out on it so it’s all mine, all mine I tell you! Lol I am throwing ideas at the wall right now about it, seeing what sticks. We are talking about bringing it to the No Name Nationals in Missouri, but I need a 440 with some balls. Right now I have a few leads but nothing in stone. I have the Purple Ratty Satty as my back up if I can't pull off the yellow RR

There are a few guys around here that keep them up on cinder blocks. Hard to believe how much that helps in the rust department. I wish everyone would do that if they are going to let them rot away, and never do anything with them.
I wonder sometimes where my 71 Satellite might be. I pulled the AT out & put a 4 speed in it, 318, mashe L rear quarter behind door. I'm pissed at the guy I sold it to cause I was picked up on a warrant for an abandoned vehicle. Save them babies.
Watching The Poor Boy kicking that minty back seat gave me anxiety, like dude figure it out don't rip it out !!! Cool show otherwise, this was my first watch, I'll be back.
I love the 72 Sat's or RR anyway that's a cool car too bad it has the sweep needle instead of the rally gauges. If that's a 383 someone must of put that in that car because the 1972 cars never came with the 383 1971 would of been the last year and 72 they came out with the bored out 383 400ci
