Could you perhaps post the 1% low results as well please. I prefer a GPU that generates a stable 60 FPS, rather then a GPU that does 200 FPS with 38 in the 1% lows. Thanks.
The 3080 is excellent but when it came out it was worth €700. The 7700xt when it came out was worth €500. It even appeared at €370 during this BF. The big problem imho is Nvidia's high price positioning. It is therefore not surprising that even Nvidia fanboys are turning to AMD, and they are right. Nvidia has become a brand for the rich. What do we have today at Nvidia on the 7700xt around €400? Nothing.
Second hand GPU's are a gamble and I do not have the money to loose 500€ in a 50/50. I'm taking the 7700xt any day (new 3080 is 1300€ so nearly three fucking times the 7700xt). Fuck that.
@Nobodycares392 it may have launched at that, but it launched 3 years ago. It’s obviously gonna change. You also would not buy one new, it’s a second hand bargain. I got mine pre owned in like new condition with warranty. At the time I’d have had to spend almost £600 for a 4070 which doesn’t generally perform quite as well as my 3080 does. So it was a great value money saver.

Looking for used products I think I could get a 3080 for around the price of the 7700xt but my psu wouldn't be able to handle it so 7700xt it is!

Wow 3070 is still very good. For 4 yers card that a good performance, and no so big power consumption
Agreed, the only problem I've been facing is keeping the Vram.under control. Newer games have been giving me issues with the 8gb capacity
