Had this issue a while back. Vibrating steering is most likely warped rotors, or misaligned or worn brakes. This noise in your video is either worn wheel bearings or cupped tyres. But if there is no change in the sound at corners then it's the tyres. I over deflated my tyres from 240kpa to 120kpa to offset for the cupped tyre noise and true enough the noise was gone even with rigorous brake test and corners. You could shave your tyres and do a wheel balancing and alignment at the workshop or rotate your tyres to the back or just get new set of tyres. I changed my tyres to new ones and its all good now. But I diagnosed what caused the cupping in the first place. My shocks and ball joints were functioning intermittently. Getting them replaced soon to prevent this cupping in future. Hope this helps. Good day. Drive safe.
I recently got 4 new tires the backs were at 2/32 tread. The fronts were at 5/32 but they were cupped. The noise is gone. I will have a review of the new tires soon. They are Firestone Weathergrip tires. Thank you for the reply.
Mine is doing the same. Didn't rotate my tires so guessing that's the cause. Its a new car so don't see how anything else could have caused it to happen.
This is due to tire cupping , main reason for damaging tire uneven due to the faulty suspension, even if you put new tire it will get damaged soon if the suspension issue not resolved
When I changed all the tires the noise went away. But the 2nd set of tires are also cupping. With only about 38k miles on them. I keep the tire pressure correct and rotate my tires about ever 7k miles.
@@EverydayCars I think it means you need new shocks/struts. Everything I'm seeing says that worn, bottomed out suspension will cause the tires to do this, especially if you notice the ride quality is suffering and it hits bumps pretty hard compared to new.
Being a 2018 it’s not bearings. My 2020 Sorento has 22k on it and the oem tires ( Hankook) are loud just like that. Dealer said they were cupped. Going to call Hankook Monday and try to see if they’ll warranty them or at least partially warranty them.
They might do a partial warranty if you have proof of rotating the tires. I don’t know if you have a discount tire around but every time I went there if I had tires with decent tread they would give me a partial credit.
Same thing on my 2018 accord sport with stock 19 inch wheel. I jack up the car and check all the wheel no play. Im guessing is the tire. What size wheel you have?
Im in a similar situation, just wanting to know if you could here a slight grinding noise when come to a stop or driving at a slow speed, when i drive over 40kmh - 50kmh its fine
@@EverydayCars I actually let my air down a fair bit and it's way more bearable, I don't have much time to get new tyres, but boy if I go on the freeway it's pretty bad
I got new tires and the noise went away. The previous owners never rotated the tires in 34k miles. The new tires are wearing even since I have rotated them.

@@EverydayCars I would like to see how the cupped tires look like for that level of noise.
Am experiencing this but my Tyres are new😢
@@rebirthed1274did you figure it out?
Yup, I have the same noise on my Honda. Rear shocks failed and cupped the tires. Looking forward to replacing the tires since I had the shocks done!
Do you find the cause? you shock absorber worn out ? Tq
It was cupped tires. Got new tires and the noise went away.
@@EverydayCars Last 2 years my rear left tire cupping, so I replace both rear tires, now my left still cupping. 😢😢😢😢
@@axenz1 Did you also get an alignment done?

Did you change your tires n it fix ?I have same problem
It is tire noise, cupping in tire. Happens due to suspension problem. Fix the suspension issues before changing tire
I had exactly same noise .it was tyre cupping .Got new set of tires for rear . It's fixed. Hope it helps someone ;)
I had same issue, replaced tires and noise gone. Came back slowly after 10k miles.
Did the same thing but it came back I’m now the proud owner of 4 new shocks.

Got the same noise coming from the rear passenger tire. I’m going to try rotating the tire to see if the noise moves and then change it. Thank you.
Is the tire wearing even across the tread? If it is it would be brakes or wheel bearing
@@EverydayCars the tire is not even. On the inside is completely gone. The outside tread looks good. I’ll rotate the tire tomorrow.

It’s definitely cupped tire noise , my car has the same noise and was diagnosed with the same issue

@ozgurugur7609 what kind of tires you have. Goodyear eagle touring? I change to continental tires. Noise is gone

I have the same issue and I hear a slight grinding issue as well.
It probably "goes away" bc youre hitting different pavement and not backroads, and the intermittent noise/ rumble is closer together
And those tires make any vibration on your car ????
Just when stopping they did. It was so loud and annoying.
Beattlejuice. Cuppa tires
Same issue, unbearable! My tyres are feathered, last owner surely didn't rotate tyres... Will get new tyres
Yea it was embarrassing to drive a nice car and have this horrible noise.

sounds like cupped tires. get a suspension check. your shocks are busted
