Ryan is a genuine good guy, heart of gold, and has topped the billboard charts in the states in 3 genres, hip hop, rock and country, Main stream ignores him yet he sells more than most of the known stars. When he raps it is rap, when it is country, it is country and when he rocks, it rocks, he is one in a million and one of the most sucesful artist and most under rated artist we have out here. He also a great comedian and has several videos of that material also.
There are not many artists like church. This man is so versatile..any genre he can play and that is what makes the labels scramble to get to him wanting to sign him.Probably hundreds of labels who got flat out rejected. Upchurch does crazy things in his videos and has controversial lyrics but he is very smart or he would not be selling out venue's and topping charts. He makes very good decisions and thats why he is still on top and not signed by any money hungry labels.
There are a lot of inside jokes in this song/video, but I can promise you that Upchurch will surprise you with every track.
Upchurch is a singer AND a rapper. Having charted on the Billboard over 70 times for Rap, Rock, AND Country. His newest Rap song "Redcoat" is fire!

This was a slam to Mainstream. Check him out with his rock Pond Creek Rd and Blue Moon. Big Machine records offered him a deal told him they would buy him a Lambo. He said No and went and bought his own. It is in his remix So Brooklyn.

upchurch is very unique, he can do country, rock, and rap, and even mix them together, when you have time you should check out his other stuff, he just did a song w/ clay walker as well, but he has a whole album w/ adam calhoun, and that is great, and yes I also recommend Die Tonight him, and adam calhoun..he is completely independent, and even Elton John played one of his songs on his radio station because he likes that he can do the mix of different genres in the same song, this was a funny song which a lot isn't, he is a very funny guy, he also makes youtube videos calling out others, and just being funny as hell, but his voice is amazing, try Ghost by him, and Ghost ranch...excellent songs...sorry so long but upchurch, adam calhoun, and tom macdonald are like my favorites, and it seems that reactors actually end up liking them all, when they start going down all those rabbit holes,because what they can do is so different compared to most!!!

Hell, it sounds like you guys like real country music like us. Us longtime country music fans can't stand modern mainstream "country." It's typically artificial, cringey, poppy, and repetitive. I'm 29 and I primarily listen to country made before the 2000's, except when I find a modern hidden gem.

If you like some humor with country music check out Toby Keith. He has some hilarious songs. One of his songs is more serious than the others as it was inspired by the death of his patriotic, veteran father and the 9-11 attack on the U.S both in 2001. The song caused quite a bit of controversy here in the states but overall most military personnel and Americans loved it. The song gave many people a way to let out some anger and helped people deal with the horrific events that took place on 9-11-01.
