Appreciate the vids but many of can’t do this due to simple mass. I’ll never be as flexible as you as a 6 footer 200lbs 😅. I should say as somebody with a lot more muscle mass.
@@suneelj93 You'd be surprised how flexible some Bodybuilders are. Can't say any names because I'm not in the scene, but I've seen some huge dudes doing middle splits and stuff
I really love your videos. They help me a lot. And you seem so positive and shining all the time - it's contagious and motivating. I could even imagine you giving motivational speeches.
That's not true, we did deep squat since we can stand and walk, so starting around age 3-5 years old. We were lying in our beds when we were babies and lying to everyone including ourselves when we grow up until now, it's true right? Just ask yourselves, have you been 100% honest all this time? Of course not.
Dude your channel is one of the best and most encouraging one that I’ve found. Gives me something to work for, granted being 6’4” and about 295-298lbs it’s going to take me a while to get there. I’m willing to do the work though. Thank you.
Your videos are amazing. Flexibility is something I've always wanted to develop, but until I found your channel I got overwhelmed trying to figure out how to stretch safely and consistently
I have never been able to do a deep squat, but your videos helped me with my hip mobility, and I can now almost do a wider deep squat!!!! I just reeeeeally need to work on my ankles now lol. Your videos have seriously helped me!!!
Hi David! Can you please post a daily full body stretch routine?? I want to achieve press handstands/splits etc. & think I should be stretching everyday to achieve it but don’t know exactly what ones to do :)
Hiring you as my personal trainer would be my quickest decision ever 👏🏼 I love how you explain things and move differently. (please you should start an online stretch sesh stream or something…)
I really appreciate this as stretching out my ankles is really important to me after an injury to one of them several years ago. It stiffens up over night, it's immobile for the first 20 minutes of the day. Thanks for adding the adaptions to moves
Bro could you please post a video about your personal favorite workouts and maybe how to start doing them? I’ve been skinny and somewhat flexible, but also strong my entire life. I want to get into ‘bodybuilding’ but not like most people that bulk and cut and go to the gym and lift heavy weights… I don’t wanna be super big, I love being lightweight but I don’t wanna loose muscle since I’m physically inactive rn due to an injury. I want to do it just like you, doing handstands, lift my whole body rather effortlessly… not feel like a noodle pretty much lol I really love your channel and the content bc I can really relate to it and feel like I actually achieve realistic goals according to my body type. Thank you!
Your vids are always amazing to me. HOW the heck did you learn all this? I'm 56 and very inflexible - not sure I could even get more flexy without serious baby steps.
One fun thing about discovering this channel is that I've found out I'm not quite as inflexible as I thought I was. I can easily deep squat, sit on my ankles, have good hip mobility and realistically I only have my hamstrings to worry about.
I'm Slavic. Squatting is definitely in my genetics. Being American born my squatting standsout sometimes haha but it's honestly a comfortable way to sit.
Hey dude I really love your videos and what you do, but I do have a little bit of a request. Could you possibly make a video on Imbalancements in the body? For example my left shoulder is slightly higher than my right, is there any way to fix something like that?
I’ve been working on it for a year now and I’m not flat yet but I’m SO CLOSE 😂 probably half an inch lift compared to only my toes being in contact! Impressive stuff man thanks for the help
I like ur jeans, they look comfy, I stopped wearing jeans due to feeling restricted and uncomfortable. I would like try a pair like these. Great video, thank you, keep it up 😊
@@missvon889 well, iits sort of difficult to explain but it is among some of my funniest runs, so I'll do my best. Step one, squat down. Step two, (you might need to lean forward) you slide one foot forward, lifting up only as much as you can while still being quick. Step three, do the same for the other. Step four, keep "running" add in arms. Now you look like a huddle that is running. You're also about as fast as a snail on crack but at least it's fun :)

Hey David, I love your videos! I have a problem on my hamstrings and Achilles tendons. They are shortened and whenever I walk I usually support the tip of my foot instead of supporting my heel and then the tip. I can't even do a squad without putting some support on my heels. Whenever I try to stretch them I always get the feeling they'll break. So much tension and pain. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you so much, and stay flexy!
I broke my ankle 2 months ago so I'm finally starting to get some mobility back into the joint... I think I'll save this for later once I'm done with PT so I can go over and beyond the mobility I've gotten from PT!
My ankles have always had very poor mobility even with stretching. Having a wide stance was great advice it helps my ass get to grass for a decent range of motion
David I love your videos and I want to start doing some exercices to increase my flexibility. However, you have so many different videos that it feels like I should be stretching 24/7 :( is there like a daily routine we could do?
The first calf stretch is what I' ve discretely done all my life while waiting for the green light🚦✨ During the quarantine, my 7 floors building steps were a blessing. I don' t gained weight but some gastrocnemius hypertrophy😅 🧛🏻♀️🖤
I've been able to do this easily since I was a little kid, and I thought everyone could do this. Weirdly, I'm not actually that flexible. I can barely touch my toes and I can't even do half of the splits. But when I do this deep squat, there's no pain or even the slightest bit of resistance whatsoever. It's actually very comfortable.
I finish each gym session by getting into a wide deep squat and holding it for as long as I can. It probably looks weird but I'm just happy that I've got that much mobility and hopefully it'll only get deeper and more stable over time.
It's great to know all this from you Actually I had knee ligament surgery can you recommend any suggestions and exercises cause I love stretching and the flexibility i am doing it although..
My guy, in case you see this, please make a video (or link me one) about hip mobility, after a crash I had I can barely cross my legs for more than a few seconds, my hamstrings are killing me
I like your advice and will do these stretches but I'm older and need to go real slow. I've always wanted to do a split. I'm not even close to this level.
The problem is weak adductors, not tight hamstrings, not tight hips, nor your adductors being tight, but weak adductors, horse stance is a great way to train them and you can also do them dynamically or do wider stance sqats and try to engage your glutes Another one is a side plank but raise the top leg on a chair(or your bed) and lift the bottom of the ground, do them with bent legs for 30 s and then when you progress do them with straight legs
Thank you for the ankle mobility tips! I’ve been trying to sit in a deep squat holding onto the rig at CrossFit so that I’m comfortable but without holding on to something / a counterweight it’s impossible
Oh thank you for adressing this, I've been working on my ankle mobility for months now with the exact same stretches as you showed at the beginning of the video but nothing is happening 💀 My right ankle especially is not budging at all, like it's literally stuck at the 90° angle, so I'm going to see if I can incorporate some of these adjustments
Hello mr flexy do you have some tips to fix knocked knees (knees that cave in) or can you make a video about it, i would really appreciate it, anyways stay flexy
I've started lifting mostly to build muscle, but after watching your videos I think it would be really good to work on my mobility as well. Is it possible to be good at both without taking too much time out of the day or overworking?
Friend of mine once asked me to do deep squad, so i did. Heels on the ground. She was shocked. I did not know its hard to do :-D I doing whole life without any training.
I've been debaiting doing stretches for a while because i'm very hypermobile ( 8/9 on the beighton scale ) and i feel like any more flexibility would be harmful for me but on the other hand i'd be able to freak out my friends haha
Folks, I’m here to tell you something fun. I was actually surprised to find out that deep squat heels down is kinda a “harder variation” of normal squat. Cause I grew up in Ukraine and PE is a mandatory subject for all students every year of school. And we all always do this deep squat not even knowing about other types of squats. We all can do it without any problem and lol you now imagine how shocked I was to find out that there are people unable to do this.
So funny how we all have a different preset. I could always do this but can't do other things that other people can naturally do. Humanity is so diverse
