The gold GM 50 was an actual locomotive. I believe was made by GM for EMDs 50th anniversary. I have seen the real GM 50 in the 80s as it crossed the Ohio River bridge into Parkersburg WVa.
You are correct! It was a GP40 but back in those days of Lionel accurate modeling was not big yet. I’ve often contemplated getting the gold MTH GP40. Would look good with my other premier chessie.
Awesome!
Thank you!
Love the background info! Lots of great memories! See you here same time tomorrow!
Yes lots of memories!
Very cool, thanks!
Thank you for watching! Merry Christmas
Great! MPC had some cool engines and cars. The soundtrack is perfect, for sure. An excellent video, as always.
Oh yeah, definitely a big step from the post war. I’m sure people loved all the color back then. Thank you for watching!
MPC Era is Mt favorite!! Great video!
It’s definitely nostalgic for me. Thank you for watching!
Nice run. The U36C was the first locomotive I got as a gift on eBay! That's when I was just getting everything with no focus.
It’s a classic, took a back seat years ago but it’s fun to run occasionally for the nostalgia!
The U36C was in your Easter basket many years ago.
I knew it was from something just couldn’t remember. Just know it’s been around a long time!
