Bro I know it has nothing to do with the video but a long time ago I had the opportunity to play a guitar with Floyd that a friend bought XD now I have a love hate for Floyd, the guitar is a copy of the model that Steve vai uses with the HSH pickups, I know it's a replica because it doesn't have the serial number and in the bridge it still has the low range of floyd but the guitar still does its job xd and with that guitar as a reference when playing it I know what to look for well with clarity, by the way thanks for the video I did not know how to play the plucking that is almost at the end, where you do the interleaving between notes
If setup properly a Floyd is great!keep the tuning and allows many tricks otherwise can be a pain to deal with especially when changing strings. Must be a Ibanez Jem Chinese copy what you mention. Your friend is lucky if the guitar is a good one because when you purchase those kind of guitars from AliExpress or similar you can receive the worst piece of crap 😆

Hi, after the last slide you have to mute the strings with the palm of the picking hand.

The resonance on strings made me mad, and i cannot palm mute 6.string while 5. and 4. strings are playing, my palm touches these strings and it isn't comfortable
@@trlead3618 if I'm not mistaken on the sample I hear a chord and then you try to mute it but some sounds are still going on. Regarding the song you have to play 0-0 on the 6th string in palm mute then you have to play 7-8 power chords open and quickly mute with the palm of your picking hand and repeat the whole process for the next measure.
@@StevenPerrone Thanks for your help, in this example I pressed the 7th and 9th frets and pulled my fingers back from the fret. I think you noticed that the sound is blurry, that sound comes from the 6th string until the end of the video. I didn't try to mute, the purpose about this sample to show you the resonance or vibration on 6th. string. Probably i can't handle resonance or something because of im beginner. My guitar is RG421-PFM. I watched many of your videos and im still watching. @@trlead3618 Imo the problem is not the guitar and it's not you at this point. Those unwanted noises are common in a "distortion" setting. If you are using some modellers/multi effect try to add to the preset a Noise Gate pedal, the purpose of that is what you are looking for imo so to cut all the unwanted frequencies that come from playing with high distortion. Another easy test you can make is to play with a clean preset at high volume, basically there will be no or little noises compared to the distortion preset.

Hi man how do you cut your e that short? i mean when i hit E0 it just goes and goes and messes up the riff.(i just started playing guitar)
No problem man, you have to play the first two notes with the palm mute technique so you mute the string with your palm, pick the string two times and then play the two power chords on 7th and 8th fret open. Thanks to the palm mute technique (it's noted in the tab like P.M.) the string will not ring when you play the two power chords.

@@StevenPerrone so do i get this correct that first two 0 0 (6 string) plays with PM and before you play next two strings (5 and 4) you palm mute the 6 string then 4-5 plays like open, right ?
@@sergiikharin1497yes, first two notes on 6th string (0-0) in P.M. then play open, in this case with a slide on 5th and 4th strings (from 7-9 to 8-10)
