Wow! That's a fertile land. Such a varied bounty at one time it's almost too much for the manual harvest but it's good to hear they employ local workers instead of excessive mechanical harvesters. Just a reliable tractor and a tiller here and there. The land can feed the people if they're willing to do some honest toil and learn from those who went before them. What a nice guy he is too. That farm is flourishing and healthy. True that guyanese favour the Massey Ferguson tractor since I can remember... but here in Canada and most parts of the US.... the machine people are beginning to use is the Mahendra machines from India. Well built and are work horses. However..... in all my years in Guyana, I've never seen such a flourishing farm..... you bring the best videos with real Guyanese feel to it. If you ever get the chance, do a video of Kumaka/Sherima river crossing and area. Back in the early '70s I surveyed Kumaka. I would like to see what progress has taken place. If you can't, no worries, I know you put a lot of effort and resources into bringing us these videos. Cheers.

Many migrated to different parts of the world and many died. My fear is... If I do come back for a visit, I'll be a stranger in my own land. I won't have anyone to go visit and have a good time. There are lots of things to do and see I agree, but when you are alone it's not worth it. I live Guyana all over again by looking and enjoying videos like these. Cheers.

They shouldn't brake off the limb of the tree. Its a bearing tree and it causes stress on the tree and eventually it wouldn't be abled to continue to produce the same type of fruits .
