Amir seems to have a pretty awesome family behind him--and most especially, a seemingly great father who continues to help Amir stay "grounded." It appears to me that that's the key ingredient to Amir's success--support of family. That's makes the Khan story all the more endearing, and unique.
The truth is fellas my mother had the same experience with US immigration also a british national holding a british passport, i sent her over to spend Christmas with her grandchildren in Washington & US immigration sent my mother back on Xmas day.. she had even explained the reason to her visit.. the thing is they did that to create a hate in our hearts but we still love as we don’t believe in giving hate a chance. 1 love
Virgil Hunter described Kahn as respectful, humble, very coachable, etc, in short, an excellent pupil. I see why. He comes from excellent family. When you look at the facts, that there's incredible pressure on Kahn and he's had major setbacks, it's clear that he has been able to overcome those setbacks because of great parental/family support. Khan is definitely a good fighter, and proved in his fight with maidana that he can take a punch. But i just don't think that khan could hang with guys like alexander, bradley, or pacman. I may be wrong, but imo his last fight showed that he leaves his chin out for too long.
