The weird thing is, the hard hat is actually sitting entirely correctly on their head! A hard hat has an internal structure that makes the helmet sit a couple of inches above your skull, so if you are struck by something from above, the bands inside the helmet have enough “give” to protect you. The downside is that if you’re wearing your hard hat correctly, it looks like it’s weirdly hovering above your head. My day job involves touring a bunch of industrial worksites and doing OSHA compliance training, and I was like “Ah, Tinker is wearing their PPE correctly” lol
Not weird at all as Maxis is spot on with their research ^^
@@TheOG-GG ... Except the beanies and normal winter hats also appear to float above the head. It's funny that that works for the hard hat though.

‼️Easy way to make vlad like you‼️: go into his house and start playing the organ, then click on vlad and click “ask to mentor”, it will take a couple sims hours but if you start neutral with him just doing this will get you to “good friends”, and if you start with him hating you it will significantly decrease how much
Going back and watching older videos with baby raising her kids and now seeing her grandkid start the next generation is making me feel sentimental

@@matthewboyajian9593 a lot of my issues could very well be mod related, but I have refused to touch my current main save so I don’t break it. I love the sims too much and have had my game crash numerous times. So for gameplay, not sure. But cas is a bit wonky
As for mods, I believe you can update those with minimal issues
Though most cas should be fine those are typically okay with updates
To be completely honest it worth the updates
I remember back when eco lifestyle was announced and everyone was so mad because they thought it was gonna be farming 😭 I felt kinda sad cuz I was super excited by the preview and nobody else was lmao

12:20 it was like watching a disaster happen, Simsie reading off Tinker’s conflicting moodlets, and Tinker in the background walking in on their mother on the toilet.
I love Nina. She really is the moment and the main character. I like to imagine we're seeing life through her screen, how it is being the nanny/maid bot for a very unlucky and chaotic family who she loves. But she's tired of being taken for granted and of things always combusting, she needs a break, she needs her freedom 😌
When you didn't find Vlad all I could think of is the mod by LittleMsSam 'can I come over...?', you call this way to anyone on the phone and then there's a pop-up like 'of course you can come!' And it works just as if they invited you over to their house and then you know where they live!
as a born and rasied "city boy", i kinda wish eco lifestyle had more industrial options/consequences (especially if you could get consequences for going green in an industrial neighborhood and vice versa), plus better cas. maybe a pro urban trait? or aspirations to get a smoggy neighborhood. the entire pack just feels incomplete, and the only unique macanic is annoyingly passive, definitely not worth $40.

Funny enough hard hats sit the same way in real life! There’s a cushion of air inside that protects you. The other hats are absolutely weird though.
Genuine question, if vampires do not die but can turn other sims into vampires, wouldn’t that mean that eventually all sims will slowly become vampires? Because the normal ones keep dying and the amount of vampires keeps increasing exponentially

@@matthewboyajian9593 still, I would try to disable them, especially the script mods because this sounds like a script issue…
it’s got nothing to do with EA, it’s because when there’s an update the code in the game changes. your mods haven’t been disabled/deleted and are fighting w the new code of the game. after each update you need to disable your mods, wait for the modders to release their own patch/update, and redownload those
i know it sounds like a hassle but it’s a simple fix
CC isn’t usually messed up after an update so you don’t have to keep updating those - just the mods :)@@matthewboyajian9593

My dude only you can report it to EA. But I second the question about mods, very much sounds like that would be the issue. Mods don't get updated right away to be compatible with official updates so in every game, they're going to break things when official updates come out.

In my legacy save Vlad moved to chestnut ridge to that starter home that is right next to the equestrian center so I gave him a skeleton horse. It's his time to be an ultimate horse champion
oh I 100% feel you on the hat thing in this game it's one of the small annoyances as a hat guy that i can't make my sims wear hats correctly (or at least how i wear them)
tinker is honestly running this series. they're the one writing the plot lol i'm here for it
Vlad is such a tough sim to romance with. And I couldn't agree more about hats not fitting right. There's one that it looks so ridiculous on a sims head I never use it. 😂

Something about the game marking Tinker as non-committal cause they broke up with their boyfriend seems odd. Like, why is breaking off a relationship a sign of that? It's not like Tinker cheated.
i think it's bc the game considered them to be soulmates, and non-committal has to do with being unable to stick to smth for longer
Needing to build a new home? Maybe a secret money vault! You can keep putting extra money in instead of cheating it away.

One of the Tinkers should absolutely do the jewelry making thing from the new pack. There's good money there, plus making family heirlooms, messing around with the gem effects (and if Quinn does it, then it's kind of a nod to their original spellcaster aspiration haha)
I have a couple vampires living in that penthouse. So far it hasn't done them any harm, but it is kind of silly.
Using this and more to prepare myself for getting it in a bit when it's on sale. I love weird things (as a Portlander) and plan on getting Strangerville just cause it's weird and kind of bad, and this pack has some weird stuff. Excited to get to use the bag heads soon.

I almost feel like Vlad moving to this sunny aspect penthouse is probably due to his sadness after he found out that Nina was already married to someone else so he wanted to torture himself to death with the light of the sun

Such a good pack
It's a great pack for playing rags to riches or off-the-grid. I love dumpster diving so much. Personally, it's one of my top 3 expansions. Of course if you're a big family gameplay player, it won't be the best pack for you.

You can turn off the action plans & green/industrial neighborhoods in Pack Settings, plus the Create-A-Sim items are really cute
I don't own many packs, and I don't regret getting ecolifestyle. That and tiny living are probably my favs of the ones I have.

Hard hats usually do sit higher and offset from the head. They are suspended with a frame inside the hat.

The only way I've ever been able to get the high school graduation to work is by getting my sim to do the "ask about graduation" with their parents and it shows up all of a sudden. Idk if this is what is intended or not

13:10 KAYLA! There is a way to set your game to only play copyright-free songs! There are plenty of safe songs in the game to use! I made a guide for the full list of safe in-game songs in The Sims 4. :) Please use it~! ^^

I have multiple saves going on and one of them I have a family of spellcasters, one of them gardens and using the 2 spells for gardening to just get rid of the weed glitch.
If only people in real life could buy potions like that to make you have a steel bladder and stuff. One for never be hungry, things like that. Think of the money you could save on food. lol Can't wait to see where this goes next.
Eco lifestyle is definitely one of my favourite packs! I was so excited when it came out and I literally use it 24/7! I feel like no one else has this same view though 😂❤

Your sim will only die if you KEEP exercising with that moodlet. You can got hot tubbing and they will be fine.
Elders won’t die even though they have that ‘Dangerously Tired' moodlet!
