It is absolutely spectacular. This is what got me into the world of Wakfu/Dofus and its associated shows, and I love everything about it. The fact that this fight scene is animated in Flash is almost mind-boggling, but by the Twelve is it gorgeous.
The french animator know how to do a great animation but the french don't care, this movie when he had come out didn't work at the box office Sorry for my probably bad english
Until he gets totally nerfed 400 years later in Wakfu's OVA. I mean, he took down Remington the Rogue, but... everyone defeats Remington at some point.
@@jeramahia123 Well technically he wasn't the same Kerubim, but another life. One where he was raised by Joris instead by his God father, and where he may have had way less adventures than before.
@@cruzwindu777deffsff4 I wonder if even in his subsequent lives, Kerubim remained Ecaflip's most favorite son. It's a shame that apparently Kerubim in his later lives seems not as involved in adventuring as Atcham implies that Keke doesn't train enough to be a strong fighter.
Ce n'est pas suprenant la France à une grande tradition de l'animation mais on manque de budget. Je regrette de ne pas avoir vu ce film au cinéma maintenant nous n'aurons jamais de suite :/
The best part is that this confirms all the series of Dofus about kerubim's adventures, that were always vague and there was the implication he was talking himself up a lot. Well, guess the old dude didn't talk himself up so much after all, he was everything he claimed to be !
Everyone is praising the animation (and rightfully so, it's amazing), but nobody is talking about how freaking strong Julith is. Kérubim has lived for a couple hundred years or more up until that point, had insanely good armor, weapon, and potion, while also having backup from his own house Luis, and he still lost to Julith. Those who watched Dofus: Kérub's Bazaar will realize how strong he is, and how insane it is that he's having trouble against her. Julith strong AF.
Unlike Julith, Kerubim was most definitely not in his prime. Huppermages were kind of legendary in the Dofus era. The Huppermages that are available as a playable class in the games are a very poor, pale imitation in comparison. Just like Masqueraiders are a very pale imitation of Maskemane and Rogues are a very pale imitation of Remington. Perhaps Kerubim could have won in the long run if nobody interfered in the fight but such was not the case. Kerubim's strength lies in his luck, but the deck was stacked against him at that moment.
It’s also the moment we saw in present time 100% conclusively that whine Kerubiem is certainly full of shit in a lot of ways, him talking about being a great warrior was never part of that.
i just can't find words for how good this animation is being able to keep up with many high budget action animes and thanks to dofus unique artstyle whole experience is even better
@@CounterBoredom I must go to france dude I love the wakfu series. wish it was more popular in the US but it may get more popular as the 4th season is coming out with better animation and voice acting.

A late reply, but this is a movie called Dofus Book 1: Julith. It is part of the WAKFU universe, and sadly this movie is criminally underrated and stupid hard to find outside of France, pretty much. However it is an absolute banger, and entirely animated in flash!
This is from the Dofus (Julith) movie. There's a show too which you can find by looking up dofus series. You'd probably like the wakfu series as well since Ankama made that as well (very epic story and less childish than the dofus series).
Gotta love when someone shots a lot of "energy beams" towards the opponent, and only 3 or 4 of them actually "hits" the target, most of those 4 getting either blocked or dodged. Such a waste of energy.
Thats how a real fight would go down imo, youre not going to land all your shots, and any shots you dont take you risk yourself in prolonging the fight
What Peepoo said but also you're limiting your opponents movements by firing those other shots also forcing them to mentally focus on many targets, in a fight that can be very taxing. Your brain will wear your body down 3 times as fast as any actual move you make. Also limiting the lethality of these shots to save energy can leave your opponent wondering what is lethal and what is not, wondering if they can bear the brunt of the shot or not. The dude showing his mastery by limiting his movements and only dodging and blocking as necessary.
