I have just watched it again and I noticed that the engine on the auger filing the grain bin is a BSA impulse mag engine had one on a New Idea elevator it was very reliable. Once again I loved the video. All the best from Henry in the UK 🇬🇧
Some were electric starter motors coupled to a simple chain winch which simply wound up and unwound going down but the best were hydraulic powered, driven by the truck engine, with a spring loaded lever working a simple valve to lift ad lower.

I didn't realise there were stripper headers as early as the 50s. Also how was the bag lifter powered?
